Ok, so I got setup with a 3.5 mL tank from smoktek and absolutely love it. I also tried some new juices that I really like (Gorilla juice and Boba's). I ordered a couple of extra carts for my tank, but when I went to swap out the carto for the new juice, it wasn't feeding and I was getting a dry burn. I let it sit for about 10 minutes and even put a few drops into the top of the carto to see if that'd help and still the nasty polyfil taste. Any ideas?

i can help, but first...a few questions

are you using pre punched cartos? if so, how many pre punched holes? if you are punching your own holes, what are you using to do so?

what type (brand) of cartos are you using? are they dual coil or single coil? do you happen to know if they are vertical coil or horizontal coil?

are you thinning your juice with a few drops of vodka or distilled water? (boba's and gorilla juice are notoriously thick VG juices)

Oh yeah, for the carto already in there, you can do the same thing but it's likely to get messy. Another thing you can try is to do a bunch of quick full-on sucks on the carto without firing the battery. If it's working, you will notice little bubbles coming out of the carto punch hole(s). 6 or more of those and you should be able to get it primed up.

the only issue with this that i see he could be having is that he's talking about boba's and gorilla juice....those are THICK 100% VG organic juices...if he doesn't thin it with a few drops of distilled water or vodka, he'll never have a chance of vaping it with a cartotank.

They're 2-hole pre punched dual coils from SmokTech, horizontal coils, I think

This is my first 100% VG juice and didn't thin it out. I was using a fresh carto before and didn't think of doing that for the tank.

ok, horizontal coils i find don't perform NEARLY as well as a vertical, but i think smoktechs are vertical...i will suggest trying out a few of the ikenvape mega platinum 510s, as they are simply the best cartos i've ever tried, and i can assure you those are definitely vertical coil and have very few issues.

that being said though, being this is the first time you've used 100% VG, it probably was NOT the carto's fault.....grab a bottle of vodka and add a few drops (2 or 3 drops for every ten milliliters), shake the bottle up to mix everything up really well, then try again...i think you'll have better results with slightly thinner juice.
