I have found a few posts here and there by searching, but nothing definitive. Has anyone traveled with DCT tanks on an airplane? I am looking at my kit now trying to decide on bringing my eGo with DCT tanks or KR808s. I am wondering if I should expect a tank to leak and make a mess if I bring it. Common sense tells me that I should expect it to leak but unfortunately I am short 1 airplane to do a test run.

I use phiniac tanks and have had some in the luggage compartment and some in my carry on's. Never had a problem with those. I think it really is dependent on the o-rings. Most of the materials are solid enough now to not have problems. I also carry a few regular filled carts and those seem to do worse with the air pressure - but that is definitely subjective.
