Should you find that the vape is too harsh, an option would be to switch to a higher resistance cartomizer like a 2.0 ohm or even 2.5 ohm for a "cooler" vape.
You might also consider using a single coil cartomizer should you find the dual coils are draining your battery too fast. I get my carto tank replacements in the lower link, if you are interested. They have options of all ohm resistances, and offer pre-punched cartos of one or two holes, depending upon the thickness of your particular juice in the tank.

Welcome , and as said above , the DCT's work OK one the Twists , but do tend to drain the batteries fairly quickly . Use single coil carto's , or even a mini Vivi-Nova . They work great on the Ego's and similar devices . Good Luck
