Sorry, I don't have my user manual so I decided to ask here.

I have a 510 with a PCC. I placed my battery in the PCC, closed it and no red light to indicate charging came on. I then pushed down on the battery (in the PCC) and got 3 slow blinks. I put my other battery in and received 5 (i think) fast blinks and then the red indicator came on.

Does 3 slow blinks mean it's dead? Is there some magic way to revive it?

Second Question: When I received my PCC it came with a 510 atomizer which had a slim gold band. I also purchased 4 replacement atomizers which were different- they had WIDE gold bands. Mine (the thin gold band) has been kicking for over a month. My boyfriend on the other hand has managed to kill two of the ones with wide gold bands. I also noticed the draw has been much more difficult on his despite the fact we're using PTBs and just the right amount of liquid. Are these atomizers that different? Maybe one is manufactured by a different company? Anyone know where I can just get the ones with a slim gold band?

Mine, iirc, blink three times right before they start charging, and about 5 when they need to be charged.

But if a battery is dead.... its dead. It shouldn't have enough juice to blink if it isnt holding a charge though. I'd say its not making a good connection. Do you have a usb or wall charger? Direct to battery, not through the pcc.

I have both - and I haven't noticed any difference at all. 3 weeks in, no dead atomizers, no dead batteries, and they seem to work equally well.
