DEAD VX2 batteries wanted !!!!!

I wish I could get some folks to send me some DEAD VX2 batteries and/or passthroughs in the mail so I could extract the threaded brass female connectors and play with them a bit more....to develop/fabricate more gadgets. I would be more than happy to pay the USPS shipping fees......OR solder a pair of fully prepared power leads to a brass connector for anyone (and send it back for their own experimentation)....as long as I can keep a dead battery/passthrough connector or two.......for my own experiments & DIY projects.

Heck, Doc, I wish I had known this sooner. I tossed out 3 VX2 batteries last week. I'll save any others that die...I just hope, though, that's not too soon...LOL.

I went through my VX2 batteries today and found one very weak one. It was a black manual one and I gutted it to make another homebrewed passthrough. This one has a little box with a momentary footswitch as well as protection circutry. I will post it in a few minutes. Have a great evening.

i got a dead passthrough too if u are interested in that as well. i dont get many of them back so its rare i have a dead one around here

The brass connector inside the VX2 passthrough is actually MUCH NICER than the connectors inside the VX2 manaul batteries (stupid little circuit board & tact switch is glued into the back of those manual battery connectors). HANG ONTO IT for me, please! I'll request it next week when I order some more juices. The USB cord is also convenient and I won't have to CUT one.
