dealing with loss

so the Dr. has informed us my sister is dying she has been fighting cancer for 20+ years and it is now wining they have told us there is nothing they can do and will be making her as comfortable as possible so she can dye with designate what ever that means i will miss her well happy Holiday and thank you for letting me rant

steven36,I just read your post and thought of something thoughtful to post . When my fingers start to type the words, I realize no words could comfort you and your family upon hearing such disappointing news . Having said that , I do want to say that some strangers are friends that you have not yet met and it does sadden me and I empathize with what you must feel. I am truly sorry .

I saw a show one time about people that live to be over 100. Strong indicators of a long life was being able to deal with change and loss, both high on the list, even more important than exercise or diet. I'm sorry you're the one finding yourself adapting to change and loss.

thanks all she passed yesterday at 10am in the end she was surrounded by family and it is a good thing i know this .... have a hard time excepting it how do 3 boys go on with out a mom my hart brakes every time i see my nephews
