Dealing with Modders

    This depends on how much the modder was mad and unpleasant FIRST. It sounds like the discussion may have devolved. Also the modder may be mad out of bad reasoning... or just an unpleasant guy.

    Seems to me this was one of the few times where clones could be justified, it led you to want the original. Anyway, it's unreasonable to expect people to start off on high end devices. The current environment includes clones on the low end, so that's part of the territory. At some point some decide to move up. Does this guy expect you to go from a clone of someone else's product to his original?!? If he makes a product that is limited production and high cost, he should realize it is for the elite few, and has nothing at all to do with the masses.

    Move on, there's a lot more fish to fry. I'm sure there are more good folks in this industry than unsavory types but I have met my share of both; whether modders or store owners..c'est la vie!! It is your choice where you take your business or as someone once said, "I'm not offended by flatulence I just move away from it's smell", :2cool:
