I believe your liquids are popular because you've got a way of mixing subtle but tremendously complex and satisfying flavors. With that in mind, I wonder if you've ever tried an Ube flavoring before? During your shut down I was forced to try a slew of new flavors from most of the other lauded "boutique" mixers. The only juice I found that satisfied my cravings for bobas was an Ube based juice called Oober Nutz from eliqcube. Local vape shop sold it, and believe me, I felt foolish for ordering damn near a total of a liter of random flavors from all over only to find what I wanted down the street from my house, lol.

Anyhow, now that I'm set for BB, I still find myself occasionally vaping a few drops of Oober goober/nutz, and I came to the realization that you could probably mix a damn fine ube juice if you gave it a try. So, if you're ever looking to mix it up in the kitchen, and would like to try a funky flavoring with serious potential, give some ube a shot. Then sell me a bottle. Thanks for all your awesomeness, it's been tasty as f#%k!

What's it taste like? Sounds like nuts but with the way they name things these days I am probably not even close.

As far as I can tell, eliqcube only sells wholesale to brick and mortar stores. I bought it at the vapor parlor in south sacramento.

Ube is a funky purplish Asian sweet potato. Much different than traditional yams, flavor-wise. The Oober nutz juice that I can't get enough of is almost creamy in its nuttiness, like an ube ice cream, if you've ever had the good fortune to enjoy such an awesome flavor ice cream.

Thanks Vedra. That's the impression I got when I looked up Eliqcube.

I have had the good fortune to enjoy ube ice cream. There's the ubiquitous Magnolia brand for Filipinos and those in the know, and a local ice cream company here in Hawaii makes it as well. Even better is home made ube halaya with vanilla ice cream. Purple sweet potato that ube is made from is much more complex in flavor than any other sweet potato or yam I've ever had. On it's own, to me it tastes like a mix of chestnut, bread pudding, custard vanilla, and on some occasions blueberry on the exhale (yes, blueberry. I was freaked out the other week when I tasted that nuance). Purple sweet potatoes don't have the same earthy boiled carrot like taste like other sweet potatoes. I actually buy purple sweet potato a lot and have them with my meals or eat it as a snack. To me, this potato is the king of all sweet potatoes.

I feel you on the "king of all sweet potatoes" deal. Living in Northern California affords me access to tons of tasty foods from the far east(west), and ube dishes are a fantastic example of that. Wish I had easier access to purple sweet potatoes, they do make a fantastic snack, and a damn good sweet potato pie. I dated a girl that used to make empanadas with them, and to tell you the truth, that's about all I remember about that ;)
Anyhow, while the juices I've acquired give a tasty vape reminiscent of ube, I think it could be done better, and getting the better half to acquiesce to turning the kitchen into a laboratory full of concentrated nicotine liquids has been more painful than my root canal. One of these days i'll invest in a lab cooler with a lock on it, and that should put that to rest.
If you can't get your hands on that juice, send me a pm, I'd be happy to send you one. I'm sure the vendors would be happy to as well.

They're also referred to as Okinawan sweet potatoes. Don't know if there are Asian markets in NorCal that has them, but I'd reckon places like 99 Ranch Market would carry them.

I hear you on getting the other half to agree to laboratory making shenanigans. Thanks for offering to send me some. That's very kind of you buddy, but I actually managed to find a vendor (also in NorCal) called myvaporgasm that carries a few of eliqcube's juices. It'd be really cool if Ben looked into concocting his own version. All things Philippines (mods, rebuildables etc etc) seem to be front and center these days, why not Filipino food (dessert) flavors no? Food for thought. Literally. Pun intended :p
