CASAA is compiling a collection of "To Whom it May Concern" letters to be scanned, compiled and sent wherever our fight takes us. Written correspondence always carries more weight than email, and individual campaigns required repeated calls for letters.

This is no way is meant to replace your advocacy in other areas, but if we can get everyone to take pen to paper and write just one well thought out personal letter (no profanity or argumentative content, please) we can collect them for multiple efforts and campaigns.

Tell how e-cigarettes helped you or someone you care about. Avoid mention of any politician or anti-smoking group by name and write to persuade rather than condemn. It doesn’t need to be lengthy, just heartfelt and personal.

It would be best if you would sign your name, but a minimum of your initials and city/state (no fluffybunny69@aol.com please) If you only do one thing to support the e-cigarette movement, I urge you to write this letter.

Mail or fax your letters to:

Dear CASAA,

We can old buddy, but I think the hand sig (at least at the bottom?) is what will give it more credence. How about a typed letter with your signature at the bottom? I know you’re not afraid of being public, I just think the sheer volume of printed (albeit scanned) letters will carry more weight.

Not to belittle anyone who uses a pseudonym, but even a simple “M Johnson, Jackson, MS” will get us more credit than “DarkAngelLord45”. I certainly don’t want to dissuade anyone from participating so feel free to plug in initials and state (if nothing else) and fax a copy to 251.445.1043 if you’d rather not mail a copy of your letter.
