I am flattered ... by all of your comments!

Yes, it's taken some time to compose this one - it's about twice as large as any other installment. And my other life (you know, the one with bills to pay) asserted itself during this long intermission. But it is now, finally, complete ... kind of.

That is, I (and the Moderators) have been experiencing strange technical problems posting it. I've had to do it in ever smaller bite-sized chunks (and currently am stalled).

You can get a sneak peak at 75% of it in this temporary holding thread. Once that reaches 100%, lordmage will stitch it together and add it as one post at the end of the stickied thread.

Thank you all again for your eager anticipation!

Don (aka DaBoom, but not Mr. DaBoom)

That was one of the first threads I read when I joined ECF. It's got solid information, with a sort of "E-cigs for Dummies" style that makes it enjoyable to read. I recommend it to all newbs as a great starting place in their journey into the world of vaping. They should print it, bind it, and put it in doctors' offices and public places! (okay, maybe not, but still....good stuff!)

[Make sure to edit it to include cignot.com's $35 two-510's kit, Don... great deal for those who are starting out or trying to add to their inventory!]

Thanks for your great work on that guide!

Thank you for the comparison to the ...for Dummies books! Although I've never liked the title of the series, I've always respected its user-friendly style and I'm sure that (subconsciously at least) it has influenced my own style.

You will see that Cignot is featured in Part 6 ... for its e-liquid (the fact that they also carry the 510 is mentioned in passing). I was aware of the $35 kit, but they were out of stock on it when I wrote the Cignot section. Too late to edit now I'm afraid.

Yes, I recall when cignot.com got caught short during the Chinese holiday of early October. Fortunately, they're fully restocked on those incredibly priced 510 kits now. How can a newbie - or a veteran like me (hey, I've been vaping 23 days or so!) - go wrong getting 2 510 atomizers, 2 batteries, 5 pre-filled cartridges and a charger for $35? And, when you consider the lightning-like shipping, well.... just can't beat the deal.

And, as you've pointed out, Don, they're known as a distributor of e-liquids as well, especially the pristine and crystal clear Ecopure liquids which I use exclusively, either alone or blended with a few drops of delicious Lorann flavoring.

Can't wait for chapter 6!

Hats off to DonDaBoom, I think I read the first five installments at least 8 times, looked over each and every detail and giggled at the excitement of colors. It's very user friendly and VERY informative. Thank you so much, you made my NOOB shopping days very easy.

Just another thumbs up and a thank you for all your hard work :) The information you have been sharing with those of us on information overload is wonderful and appreciated! :)

Thanks to both of you so much! Such feedback warms the cockles of my heart (whatever cockles are)! From what each of you has said, I have achieved my purpose: the user-friendly consolidation of (at least some of) the overwhelming wealth of information on ECF, which I wish I had had so very long ago:rolleyes: (in June). And giggles along the way is a bonus!

Thanks again, yoitzo and Saiyge!

[One of these days, we need to find a way for ECF members to share how we came up with the interesting and sometimes strange screen names we've chosen for ourselves. "yoitzo." "Saiyge," "DonDaBoomVape" - wierd!:D In fact, I may just start a thread on that right now in the General Discussion forum!

Is Kids in the Hall still on anywhere?
I freaking loved that show.

Better than Monty Python, if that were even possible.
:)

I haven't seen it on television in a while. I'm hoping to get them on DVD
Better than MP? no. As good. YEP

KITH just had more leeway with their skits. Big difference in network censors reaction from the 60's/70's and the 80's/90s

:D
