On the reccomendation of someone from my first thread here, I saved one last Camel for my 2nd day vaping.. Yesterday I had about half a pack left and smoked all but the one I just had..

I am reminded of a time a year or two ago when my dad came in my room to wake me up. He was messing with me and had been up for several hours and had probably half a dozen analogs.. When his hands got close to my face, I literally woke up, stared, and said 'Damn, dude.. Is that what I smell like after I've had a few smokes?' He replied with a simple 'yes' and I blew it off..

Um, I really feel like an ....... now. My girlfriend doesn't smoke, my mom doesn't smoke.. I don't know HOW they have managed to deal with how I smell! UGH.. ONE analog 10 minutes ago and I can STILL smell and taste it.. It's like a stale, old ashtray.. My hand smells like a week-old glass of sugary tea that's had mold growing on it since day one.. I want the taste out of my damned mouth.. yuck.

The taste? I'm torn on exactly how to describe it.. One of three things I think.. 1. Sickeningly sweet death.. 2. Twice-re-fried melted polyester.. 3. KICKED HABIT. Which do you personally think fits best? This is after ONE EVENING not smoking, and a few hours being awake and only vaping. I don't even want to know how bad I used to smell at night after a whole pack. No wonder my mom would never let me smoke in the house.

Share your eye-opening experiences if you would.. What was it like the first time you had an analog after a day or so of only vapor?

On a side note: this is odd.. But I seem to get the 'rush' of when I started smoking from my 401.. and having that damned camel just like.. sucked it all up.. It's like my body is saying 'HAH.. to hell with that.. I can get my feel-good without all that **** you've been pumping me full of. BAD Tony.. bad. No more 'smoke' for you.

Ooh! I got it!
Smoking is to vaping as swamp smell is to Ocean breeze

Amazing, isn't it? After a week of vaping, I was driving, and had a pack of Marlboro Lights in the glove compartment. Although I didn't want one, I lit one up to see what it was like. One puff, and I flipped out the window.

Been smoke free about 4 months now, and I can't believe the difference. Every building I walk into has the sickening smell of smoke near the door. As an x-smoker, I wouldn't think of complaining, but I still can't believe I used to smell like that. (Sadly, my wife says I used to smell exactly like that.)

I'm prepared to fight the FDA single handidly if I have to. I'm not going back.

Nah, you know it won't be singlehanded. I'll be there, along with a lot of people we know here and folks like Bill Godshall and Mike Siegel. They will not force me to go back. Between stockpiles, undergrounds and above ground fights, we'll do whatever we have to do!

Oh yea, the smell, almost as bad as skunk! I asked myself the same question, did I really smell that bad? My Tahoe is finally starting to smell better thanks to an air freshener, open windows and not smoking anymore. It only took 6 months!

Funny thing though, my mom still smokes analogs (has her e-cig, not quite converted) she only smokes outside, but she doesn't smell bad? Weird.

Some lady went into our local Dollar General and laid her lit cig on the ledge next to the open door of the store. Needless to say, all that smoke was going in the building, talk about rude!

Nothing worse than a rude smoker. I always tried not to offend others. Wish I would have known about e cigs then cause she would have gotten a lesson!

Dude, that's exactly how I felt after one day exclusively vaping and switching back to analog the next day (I didn't ordered my vape survival kit yet).

I gave only three or four mouthfuls before throwing away my morning smoke, and now I'm really into vaping, and I won't go back.

But I'm a bit concerned about start vaping for good, and then be shafted by ANVISA (FDA here in Brazil). I would fight this mofos for sure. Meanwhile, I'll stockpile some equip and juice.

Why they don't ban tobacco altoghether? This would force Philip & Morris go into the e-cig business.

But sadly it's exactly the opposite. Huge lobby there...

Class action lawsuit anybody?

This is my first post. I've been lurking for awhile trying to learn as much about vaping as I could before making the plunge.

I purchased 2 DSE901's from myvaporstore and started on Friday night, 7PM. No analogs since. I was at work yesterday and I felt like I still smelled from cigarettes. I think there was some smoke in my hair or something. I felt like dousing myself with Febreze. Now I know that I must have been really smelling bad when I came back into the office from a smoke.

I love vaping and I'm learning fast, I think. I kept a half pack of Marlboro 100's (cowboy killer) just in case. I ended up lending one of them to a coworker and not touching the rest. No need to.

I am so glad I watched the video from Spikey before I bought my kit. It answered so many questions I am reading about on the boards from other newbies. You guys rock!

Recently, I had the opportunity to be the jerk ex-smoker. Large poker game in a small living room, everyone smoking (vaping in my case) like crazy. My GOD it stunk. My eyes hurt, my throat hurt, it was disgusting. I had to get up and go outside for some fresh air. I had to shower and wash my hair when I got home to get rid of the reek.

I can't believe I smelled that bad for so many years. I apologize to all my non-smoking friends for being such an offensive-smelling prat.

I couldn't believe it either. I still get the rare urge to have a analog (mainly because I can't bring myself to waste the ones I still have laying around), but the smell it leaves just slays me. No way am I going back to those, I'll go black market if I have to. As it is, I'm trying to lay in about a one year supply, but I'm not quite sure (since I've only been doing this for a month) what a years supply is :)

I got a new car about a week ago, so I've never smoked in it once.

I had to move the old car the other day and it stank of stale smoke, I was really surprised at the degree of it. I always had the windows open when smoking no matter how bad the weather, so I can't imagine what it would have been like had I not.
