This may have been posted before due to the age of the article but I couldn't find it when I did a search for it. Sorry if it has been posted before but I also think in light of current events in NY and other areas, would be good to review it again.
Harm Reduction Journal | Full text | Debunking the claim that abstinence is usually healthier for smokers than switching to a low-risk alternative, and other observations about anti-tobacco-harm-reduction arguments

There is also a very good site which I'm still reviewing which appears to be a well organized research project on harm reduction and tobacco cessation. Have found some good information here that some might be able to benefit from.

I read the linked articles. I am addicted to nicotine and caffeine. I don't function well without either one of these throughout the day. I also have another addiciton and it is food. If I did not control this one, I would be well over 200 pounds and have the family disease of Diabetes. So vaping in my opinion is much healthier and less risky for me. Vaping and the nicotine fix it gives me helps me to control my addiction to food. A seetjuiceafter meals and I don't crave the sweet foods as much. Vaping also requires me to drink more water, which is also good fro weight control.
