I have a sigelei #14 and in the last couple of weeks my Vamo V5 and now Joytech Evic have died. I am waiting to take delivery of a Nexgen Futura (end of next week) In the meantime my Sigelie has really been doing okay. The Evic died an hour ago and i have been looking online at the smok Magneto.

Having done my dough on the futura i am just looking for something else for now. Although i am surprised how much i have enjoyed the Mechanical mod so i thought i might buy another. At the moment i have no plan B if this one breaks.

Do you like the telescoping mods? I've been looking at the Launcher V2 made by Raivapes, Good looking mod with copper contacts and has a recessed fire button with no locking ring needed. From the reviews written it's a good mod with good threads and you can upgrade the switch to use magnets from a nemesis. You don't have to worry about the contacts because it already has one of the best conductive materials in it! And it's a clone, But it's a really good clone said by reviewers.

If you don't like the telescoping I would say get a nemesis clone by Hcigar. I have one already and this thing hits hard and is a very sleek mod.

I've been Getting attached to my nemesis more and more ever since I bought one, I honestly think Im going to be getting the LauncherV2 soon.

The Hcigar Nemesis is an excellent mod. Also the Hcigar 69 clone is quite good, especially if you want a side fire button instead of a bottom firing mod. The 69 is good because you can change it so the fire button is at the top by your thumb or at the bottom by your pinkie finger, whichever you prefer.

It also has variable airflow built into the mod, so you can adjust your airflow even if your topper isn't adjustable.

Oh no! another evic down and out.

and to think.... I get flamed in the UK for advising people not to buy them.

:)

I had problems with it from day one, contacted Joytech and they said it was becuase i used and i qoute "a non joytech" atomiser they are garbage. The vamo lasted 6 months and i basically destroyed the threads through over use at the time i only ever used that mod. I have bought a replacement topcap from stealth vapes but have not got round to fitting it. I was so impressed with the little Sigelei mech i bought i thought i would get another hence the thread. If it helps am in the UK and they are .....e i hardly even used it, as soon as the short atomiser crap started (after a week) it was only used on protanks and vivi novas i was forced to buy a vamo. And it had been great. My brother in law asked me which one to get recently and i told him hands down the Vamo. The evic is incredibly fragile he is a builder the evic wouldnt last a day on site. The evic cant even be used as an Ohm meter:evil:

Sorry to hear your troubles.

Going back to the mech idea. If I was buying UK, I'd get a Magneto.

From Fasttech, I'd go for either Nemesis, King or Caravela. (K100?)

You can get these in the UK but there is no chance for me paying some clone mod website £39.99 for a £15 Fasttech or Focalecig mod they imported. No chance on that whatsoever.

One that might be perfect if you've already got the batteries is the Galileo from Smoktech, Body only and a liquid comes to £50 :)
They're capable of holding 18500 and 18650 batteries. If you've already got the batteries with your other mods you're already set, been trying one out lately it's pretty damned nice in the hand

I have the mageneto and I think is a great first mech mod. A few downsides would be length and weight. Very long with an 18650 and heavy. I recently bought a lavafire lock v4 made of aluminum and it has been great. It weighs close to nothing and with an 18650 battery, it is smaller than the magneto with an 18490. The only downside to the lavafire is the threads are also aluminum which can cause stripping in the future. The magneto has stainless steel threads that will most likely never strip out.
