I have a 510 and love it of course, but I have 2 problems with it. #1.Short battery life and therefore I need a pcc. Which brings up problem #2.The pcc is for lack of a better word, crappy. Ive gone through 3 pcc's due to a single drop that entirely destroyed the hinge.

This brings me to my point: I cant decide whether to get the Ego/Tornado for the battery life, or the new Volcano Magma for the pcc and supposedly better attys.

I know most people will say it depends on my vaping rituals, but both of these with solve my problems... only in different ways. Both are the same price, so I need to know which is more reliable and which is the better deal. I know that the Ego gives better throat hit and flavor than a standard 510, but Ive heard the same about the Magma. To me the Magma seems like just another 510 with a different logo on it... So in a sense all I really need to know is if it really performs better than my Joye.

If battery life is your concern. I can recommend the eGO from firsthand experience. I am a heavy user (as is my wife) and we easily get 8-10 ours of batttery life from a single charge.

I can't speak on the Magma, but the eGo/Tornado is much better than the Joye 510. The 650 mah battery of the eGo/Tornado produces better vapor and lasts much longer. The stock 510 batteries are only 180 mah. If your only gripe with the 510 is battery life, the eGo/Tornado will solve that problem. I hope that helps!

but I've never used one with regular 510s, I need the low resistance ones to get the extra throat hit. kinda sucks because I've gone through 5 so far in a month

I've never used the Magma but have used the eGo and would definitely recommend it.

Yup. I can rock out on an eGo/Tornado for a whole day. Since you already seem to have the 510 equipment, its a good fit.

I'd pick up 1 atomizer cone, two ego batteries, and the charging adapter so you can hook it up to your 510 charger. Thats the most bang for your buck you can get really.

I've heard good things about the ego...although if you really want battery life there are some mods like the chuck or bullet or just about any flashlight mod that can rock your socks off too... Just depends on you, but if you like the way you vape now and just want to do it longer...ego it ^_^

I have to cast my vote for the Ego. Better warranty, better charger, and Janty invented it.

eGo for sure, I bought 2 kits for my hub's who is on the road all day and they last him forever!
Also you might think about using cartomizers in your new eGo for longer lasting juice and less refilling, that is how his is set up and he loves it

They all know from which they speak! eGo/Tornado is your best bet. I have both and only recently ordered the box mod "MR. PUFFER" cause I want to try something new but its NOT cause I've grown to dislike my eGo. Btw get the LRs attys for them too....you'll love them!

Well I guess Im getting the eGo by unanimous decision! Now for question #2! I want the Tornado, but dont want the devil logo... is it removable? Can I just scratch it off with my fingernail or something or is it etched into the metal?

If the on the top of the PCC is your only problem, then all you need is a rubber band. It's a pain, but having mega batteries (+2hours!) and regular 510 batteries both I had to adapt with a rubber band from the start, the hinge is more of a hindrance than anything for my experience.

Otherwise, I have no experience with the other ones, offering a secondary point of view I guess.
