I've been on here for hella long getting so much help from the post i see on here but i finally decided to become part of the community instead of be on the side lines basically hah. As of last week I've been looking into building my own box mod with two 26650 batteries, tryna do as much research as possible before i get myself into something over my head x:p

WELCOME! Will this be a mechanical mod or a regulated mod? One 26650 battery carries nominal 3.8 volts with a maximum instantaneous discharge of 60 amps so two of them will give you 7.6 volts and double the possible discharge depending how they are arranged. Stacking these batteries will not be a good idea. If you apply 7.6 volts on a .5 sub ohm coil you will be throwing out 115 watts...extremely dangerous. For a regulated VV/VW mod you will need quite a chip to handle 115 watts. I would recommend creating a switch to basically turn one battery off and the other battery on when the first battery drains down to 3.2 volts or so. You can pack 7000mAh of power in one mod!...lol

Good Luck and do lotsa homework. Check the battery section on the forums.

Or the better option is to run them parallel (+ to + and - to -. Then you double the mah but not the voltage. I'm looking into running 4 or 5 1200 mah Lipo in a box mod like this.

Much better idea! You not only double the mah you also double the current handling capability making it a much safer mod. Welcome to ECF!

what i did see was the segelei 100 watt chip, but i also read that the pics were photoshopped? i wouldnt stack the batteries either, i understand the safety of batteries but as i said before since im making the whole mod i need more knowledge so i very much appreciate the input :) . If the segelei is a bust then what you were saying about the switch to turn a battery off and switch to the next when its low would be a good possibility because im rarely home and never carry extra batteries hah. This is a very warm welcome, thank you :D

Joeswuid's idea is also veryr nice ! i feel like i've been missingout on so much by never participating

Thanks Joe, really glad to be here, ready to help those that need some help, and definently find answers to the questions I don't have the answers to lol
