So, I'm fairly new to vaping, 59 day's analog free. after 55 years of 1 1/2 packs a day.

I've been using a single 14500 battery box mod & a duel 14500 battery vv box mod. When they work they work fine, although the vape times are short between charges. ( I'm using 2.5 ml juice a day )
BUT....... the vv mod keeps blowing my carto's out & I'm very unhappy with it although I like the idea of vv.
I'm using DC Carto's and tanks and like both.

So after doing some research I found 3 types of mods that I'm interested in:

1-Megalodon a bottom button 3.7v thats well built & should last a long time, this has a "MINI' configuration also.

2-LavaTank, a vv mod that has a lot of very good reviews.

3-Saber touch. More expensive then the others but has a lot of good features, especially a high power option that will drive the new 3 coil carto's that are coming out.

So fellow vapers I would appriciate any suggestion or comments on these mods to help me make up my mind.

well i would suggest a lavatube, because its cheap and the performance is awesome.

what is the ohms of your carto? maybe just go with a higher ohm carto like a 2.5ohm, I have a lava tube it works ok and I think these guy have a good price on it for the full kit

Over all the LT would probably be the most economical does have a bit of a drawback when used with LR attys/cartos. the saber touch has to me a different kind of coolness factor to it. If I had the cash I would probably have to go with the saber touch.

My carto's are 2.5 ohm. I think the problem is within my vv box. It get very hot & the carto gets very hot also, at least hotter then I think it should get with the usage times. For me a carto will work fine then just quit, still full of juice so I'm not burninig them out. they are just belly up. I've killed 6 in the last week & Im done with it.
Is that Cylon vv mod a LavaTube? It sure looks like one & that is the place that has the Don Im thinking of. I will call them tomorrow & see.

must be your mod burning them out I've never fried a carto I've had duds right out of the box and yes it is a lava tube aka L-rider aka knight rider aka cylon

Yes, I am convinced that the vv mod is not working properly & I am going to talk to the seller.
I got it from a very good supplier so I'm sure they will do the right thing with it as it's only 4 weeks old.
Any other comments/suggestions would be appriciated.
