I will give one vote of trust to the Provari. I ordered a chrome one on Friday with the ext cap and 2x18650 batteries, and since then im bitting my nails all day waiting for it to ship! Just one question though, i ordered the standard charger, forgot to go for the pila. Is this bad? How many hrs will my batteries need to be fully charged?

I have to say that i too wasted money left and right because i was a complete newbie on the subject. I could have bought the provari easily if i knew from the begining.

I'd order a Pila when you can, but it isn't the end of the world. Just make sure you check the voltage when you put in a fresh battery (Can do it right on the Provari). It's normal for a fresh battery to register at around 4.2-4.22v.

As for charge time, a couple hours should see them at full.

Imagine the strongest hit you've ever had. With these VV's, that's the hit you get consistently every single time. You just won't quite believe it at first. You can actually adjust it so you get just the hit you want every time. Some like it stronger and some not so much. It's up to you. When I started vaping 2.5 years ago you wouldn't believe what all of us went through just to get one good hit, then we'd keep working at it to get one more. I can't believe things have gotten this good with the VV Mods. I've had my Darwin since August and it's never given me a bad hit. I'm sure the Provari Mini will do just the same, and I'm looking forward to having the smaller Mod. I wish I could see you take your first hit. :)

I'm looking forward to it. Vaping on an eGo 900mah with the 510 DCT, not bad. If it's at least as good as this consistently it will be worth it. Looking forward to throwing a phiniac tank and some Boge 3.0ohms on there. I'm sure I'll be gushing about it when it comes in.

Thanks for your answer. Yes I am considering the provari mini. A little expensive but could not find a single negative review so far, and the price at which the used ones are sold is a nice plus also.

DCC do seem to be a problem in the provari though. I have tried 1.5@5v in my passthrough and would like the vapor to be warmer.

Welcome to Maximum Vapors - E Cig Supplier builds VV's that can handle a DCC. Todd is excellent at his work and his electronics are cleanly built. As for madvapes' VV box mod, I would pass if I were you. I hot boxed mine to the point that the silcone stuck to the battery door and I had a heck of a time getting it off. If I can do that to something, I don't want it...but that's me.
