Okay, so this is gonna sound VERY stupid to the guys out there..may just wanna pass this thread right on by in favor of more technical stuff!

You have been warned! If you continue to read it's not my fault for being all girly on ya! :)

Okay so I tried to use nail decor to decorate my Prodigy, such as SharonLM and others have done. But...they don't actually STICK...every time I pick it up to take a puff, I have to press all the stickies back on. This morning they were mostly OFF and had to be all pressed back on. I did clean my Prodigy with window cleaner before attempting to apply so I don't think it was body oils from being handled.

I thought SharonLM had said she didn't need to put a clear coat on top, and that they just stuck? Is this correct? Perhaps I have a set that is just too cheap. (Although they didn't COST cheap...) I got my set from Claire's. I don't really want to clear coat them on because I change my mind too much, and I'm sure to want a different design in the future. In fact, I got these because they were "pretty enough" and I wanted to try it out before ordering the ones I *really* want from Amazon.com and spent stupid money on shipping...hehe

So I guess my questions are, is this just a cheap set of nail stickers, or do they need to be clear-coated on, and if it's just that these are cheap, has anyone tried the ones by Joby at Amazon.com? I just LOVE their gold decor but am not sure on the quality as some of the nail stickers have feed back of being "too thin". (I have never used nail stickers before as I don't do my nails as they split too easily when grown out, so I just keep them trimmed.)

Thanks!

OK
Don't know a thing about nail stickers, but with stickers in general, you need to have a very clean surface before applying them. Try cleaning the surface with some rubbing alcohol first then put them on.

Hee I started something with the nail stickers.. Here are the one's I used on my 901 2 months ago. Still on and still going. Walmart cheapo's.
We are using the bottom sheets, I haven't used the rhinestone one's as they are raised and I figured Id knock them off. The bottom sheets are all flat and kinda vinyl like.

Hi Yira, I got my nail decals at Walmart. (Silver Leaves). They have been on about a month and a couple near my botton look a little worn but none have come off at all. I did wipe my prodigy with a cotton ball and alcohol first. Be really careful not to touch the decal at all with your fingers. When I first did mine I tried taking the decals off with my fingers and those didnt stick. I used my long pointed tweezers and carefully lifted them off the sheet and on to the surface. No top coat at all.

Mine looks PURDY!!!

Good luck
