Mom is supercool so she laughed hysterically. Not sure about her guest though... Back then my mom had two regular visitors, one was our Avon Lady who was also a family friend and she was cool as ice, and just as relaxed as my Mom was. The other was a woman we went to church with regularly. I am sure if it was her, she was flabbergasted!

UPS delivered the SS DCCs.

To someplace in Ontario, CA.

Not to me.

Argggg.... :(

there's this place that I know of that does an amazing burrito... carne asada, frijoles, rice, salsa, and a chile relleno buried in the middle. Sucker is HUGE and one of the best burritos I've ever eaten in my life!!

Can you get good, hot green chili there Deej. I love chilli rellenos. I got rather frustrated one year I was stationed there. Ended up making rellenos out of jalepenos. They were OK, hit the spot, but I paid for it later. Now that I have lived here 11 years, I cant imagine life without good, Hatch green chili.

I'm not very creative about it. My neighbors ALWAYS have mail outgoing so I just walk through the house, passing the window every 5 minutes to see if there little flag do-hickey is down.

If I am home I have a tendency to pace a hole in the carpet waiting, and it's hard to go anywhere if I know the mailman might be by soon... sigh.

mmmmmm... fondue.... :)

(no... it won't be a flavor...)

No fondue? :( Hmmmm.... How about a Jack In The Box Taco? :p

♥ Minnesota ♥
Venusjade, I'm in Minnesota, we should have snow any day now, I'll be happy to share.

Freakin' Awesome (cleo's version, late as usual) Apple Pie, covered with Caramel covered with Vanilla bean ice cream! FREAKIN AWESOME!!!

Oh and a little tiny bit of FYI ... True Mexican food doesn't use a lot of cheese .. that's the American .......ization of it because we are all fat & lazy and love our melted gooey goodness on everything! If you go to an authentic Mexican Restaurant, you will likely have to ask them to add cheese to burritos and tacos and such. At least we do up here. (Lots of Mexicans in Minnesota, go figure -- Not as many as California but still..for a frozen place, it's always seemed odd to me)

Anyway, got a box fulla 13 flavors from Deej today .. some new, some in different formulations. Just gotta try it all ways, that's why I'm the quintessential juice junkie!

vape on!!

well... different places use different chilies here... they run from ortega to something else (whose name I forget). Until you, I'd never heard of Hatch... typically I grab 'em from the produce dept or, if I'm feeling industrious, grow them. But honestly I prefer to grow jalapenos...

Hmmmmm... that sounds like a worthy endeavor!

I just realized the order I got today was #450 ... and the previous one, #441 never showed up :( It was shipped, but I didn't get DC for it ... guess I'm paying the extra .75 cents for DC from now on :(

Much sadness. I wonder if I should reorder or wait a couple more days.

you may want to give it a few more days....

Most of the green chili I tried out in CA was pretty bland.... It was rather confounding.

I have mine put up for the year, not sure one 30lb bag is going to last us this year.

Must not have been that bland, it made all your hair fall out!

Nope, the kids did that to me. Three teen girls, single parent.... cutting back on shampoo and conditioner was on of the first things I did..... so I could afford the mind numbing expenditures on Q tips and cotton balls and such!:lol:

I love having an In-n-Out just a few minutes away. Wienerschnitzel has been closing locations... my nearest one is miles away... I love chili-cheese dogs... :)

Got a nice lil Mexican hole-in-the-wall right around the corner that I dearly love, too. :)

I hate bland! Love jalapenos 'n' stuff...

<=== Also has an In-N-Out a few minutes away, as well as 2 Del Tacos! :)
