I was doing that, but the thing is, I was ALWAYS doing that!
This way seems to saturate the filling better and lasts a bit longer.
I always do several cartos at a time, and it doesn't take a lot of effort to do it this way.
(That is if you do several.)

I often drip into the carto when it starts to get dry, but when I have new ones or several to refill I like this way.
It also seems to taste better when it sits in the carto for a day or so.

I love the drip tips and use them as a mouth-piece all of the time.
The bungs and condoms (control yourself from hysterical laughter Kitty!) are for storage & travel purposes.

I like just taking a dry carto off, setting it aside and putting a filled carto on. Repeat. Fill a bunch at a time!

When I'm using cartos (I've fallen out of love and am just using up what I have left before returning to atomizers full-time), I've given up on the condom method. For the first fill, however, I do the Taryn spin. I can usually spin it 2-3 times before it stops absorbing any more liquid. That way I know I have it completely saturated. After that, I just top it off with a bunch of drops whenever it stops looking wet.

Of all the fill methods I've encountered, I still prefer using a syringe BY FAR !!
