Good morning sweet Kitty.... did you hear we got a wolf?

um... a kitty-friendly wolf? :)

saw those on the site.... I've always liked the concept.... but I'm pretty stuck on cartos at this point...

we just finished having waffles... the taste is melding so well with the peach cheesecake that I'm vaping that I may have to try mixing in a bit of Deej's waffle juice.... yummy!

I love the tanks!!! Gonna have to get you guys converted :)

Peach Cheesecake Waffles? Hmmmmmmmmm... Looks like I'm gonna be announcing a whole new waffle line soon...

These tanks are carto-mod tanks. The carto is inside the syringe-mod tank to hold more juice for the carto! (not the ego-T type of tanks spoke of elsewhere). I prefer cartos as well, which is why I think these tanks rock!

We just got our DC tank. Hubby filled up the tank and filled the DC carto and let it all sit for about 15 min before he tried it. It's got a burnt taste to it though. Running it on a 3.7 flashlight mod which actually puts out closer to 4.2. Any ideas of why he's getting the burnt taste? Liquid is an 80/20 pg/vg mix that works great in the DC cartos.

I got a carto that was pre-cut with the tank I have and it did the same thing. I had DH cut another hole and it worked fine after that. Maybe it's not getting enough juice in the carto?

Maybe, but he filled the carto as well as the tank and even the first couple of hits tasted burnt.

How is the vapor production on it? It should be the same as on any other DCC. I'm wondering if one of the coils is too tightly wound (not enough space between the coils). Honestly, if that's the case, the only fix would be to replace the DCC.

When I ordered the tanks, I only picked up a handful ... I don't have any replacement pre-punched DCCs on hand, and won't be able to send you a replacement until mid-January at the earliest (holiday shipping traffic + our friends at FDA/Customs). I do know (heard, not tried) that a self-tapping saddle valve can be used to punch a hole in the side of a regular DCC... or a Dremel with a drill bit... hmmm... ideas are flowing... Is there anybody reading this that has tried modding a DCC for use in the tank?

Anyway... um... I suppose you could drain the tank, remove the DCC and try the DCC without the tank (covering the hole with a finger or something), but I don't expect that it would make any difference.

ETA: Fudgey... how hard was it punch that extra hole? Also... this may be nothing, but I never filled the carto itself, just the tank. What's the possibility on the juice cooking? Again, most likely nothing.

DH used a dremel tool and cut slots in stead of using a punch. The first few hits were fine but then I got the burnt taste. I took the DT off and added more liquid and it was fine for a few more hits. The one he did that already had the holes still wasn't as good as the slots. To think about it though I'm not sure the one I had was a DCC.

I'm wondering since he filled the tank first and then the carto that there may have been an air pocket trapped in the carto and that is what is causing the burnt taste. I'll have him try to put another hole in the carto and see if that helps. If not we have some regular DC cartos that I can have him put a couple of holes in and replace what's there. My concern it that the new cartos don't have that lip at the bottom and might leak.

I was thinking about slots, myself.

Hadn't though of that bottom lip on the carto itself... I've run the tank with the tank body itself raised up off that lip a bit (unknowingly) without issue...

Hi Digimon,

Tiburonfirst recommended your site and I just got the 14650 e-power kit from you. Thank you for the great deals and service.

Quick question (not sure if I should email your site instead): first time I charged my batts, the charger light turned green when done. Today, the red light is blinking non-stop on both batts. Is this normal?

Thanks. :)

Edit: never mind my question. The blinking slowed and light eventually turned green. I just wasn't watching it on first charge. Duh!

I was just gonna say that it's normal as the battery approaches fully-charged... :)

No horizontally.

Okay... I was just sorta wondering :)

so... I think it's getting closer to that time when I break the Lemonades out into their own line (due to an email request for other fruit combinations that I will soon comply with).

While I'm at it, I suppose breaking Waffles! out into their own line would be a good thing to do as well! Besides... 148 flavors just isn't enough !!!!

(eeeeeevil kitty! yes I are! such a cute lil eeeeevil kitty)
