Good morning

Nice to meet you bakedtart!

that doesn't sound like a fun game at all Jackbox...

Unfortunately, the Post Office has chosen me to play this fun game. I did a smallish order when the kitty was on the Rose. It was being sent to my mother outside of Los Angeles, who would mail it to me here in Bangkok. Deej is in L.A. but the package went from L.A. to Detroit, MI, which is where it is now. Now I have to wait for it to be sent back to L.A. for delivery. It should have been delivered in one day as my mother lives about 50 miles or less from the Deej HQ.

That brings to mind an anecdote...

a former boss of mine hailed from Nebraska... he came back in from a Post Office trip where he'd tried to send a Christmas package back home to the folks. In Nebraska.

The reason for the fluster? The clerk wouldn't accept the package until my boss paid for International Postage because Nebraska was another country.

I think we can take solace in knowing that if nothing else, the clerk had very good self-esteem.
