Hey deej - finally getting around to the forum again :) Been busy, job-hunting and whatnot (mostly whatnot if I'm being honest , thanks to the severance).

Anyway, I wanted to touch base with you on the Nannerbutter - I have the odd thing with this too, like on the PB&J-Raspberry. Again, not BAD, just something odd I couldn't put my finger on. I think it's just me though, that I've just gotten so used to sweet vapes, and this kind of has a non-sweetened PB going on, or something like that. I dunno :?:

Having said that I LOVE both of them (cheezcakez are still #1 though ), and rotate both daily. I am going to try them at 125% next time though - or at least the Nannerbutter. I think (for me) it could use a touch more banana maybe and it would be perfect for me. The PB&J-Raspberry is awesome though, love that fresh Raspberry flavor. YUM!

Still not feeling the joy on the snickerdoodle though. :( That's usually a really sweet cookie, so I'm having a hard time with the low sweetness on that (I think that's what it is). I'm gonna let it steep another week and try again and see what happens with that. I do love natural cinnamon though, and that is definitely there, so that makes it ok, just not joyous like all the others I've had from you. :)

On the PBs, yeah, it could well be the unsweetened nature that's doing it. Let the Nannerbutter steep for a couple more days if you can, and see if that Banana comes out better. It's one of those combo-flavors - the Banana is highly concentrated, the Peanut Butter isn't. Highly concentrated flavors take more time to permeate the entirety of the juice... :)

It's interesting to me that you find the Snickerdoodle to be "low-sweet"... another customer reported it as too sweet! :) And both reports could be true!

I like my snickerdoodles to have not so much sugar on them... for me, sugar overrides the other flavors...

I do have a different recipe for Snickerdoodle that I'm not pushing yet. If anybody wants to try that alternate recipe, let me know in the comments. I will say that I find it less sweet than the normal recipe, but that could just be me.

question: I posted on the ecf forum under atty/carto/whatevers, but nobody was able to answer... do you find that some cartos or clearos really mute the flavour of e-juice? Because I'm so familiar with Rose Candy (love it!), I used that flavour as a test with my giant LED cartos... and I can barely taste it.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'll toss my 2 pence in on the carto question...

I think the first thing I'd look at is the resistance of the "good" carto vs. the LED carto. I know that, given the same voltage, a higher-resistance carto can produce less of a flavor-hit.

Next: Single-coil on both? Dual coil? One of each? A lot of people swear by dual-coil, saying it gives a better flavor-hit.

If those LED cartos are the ones I think they are, they're probably a single-coil at a higher resistance. Also, unless I'm mistaken (which I could be... my electronics knowledge has become rusty over the years), the presence of the LED is going to siphon off some of the power destined for the coil. Not a lot, but it could be enough. I have no experience with the LED cartos... but they do look cool!

This is what I purchased at 2.8-3.0 ohms, also got a few lrs, and across the board they're all kind of lame for flavour, but fabulous for vapor & appearances.

Depending on what device it's on,.. (i'm guessing maybe an eGo?), you should try a lower resistance carto, anywhere from 2.0-2.5ohms is perfect. I too have used the LED giant carto and it did mute a lot of the flavor, but gave a ton of vapor. Threw it out after a few weeks of occasional use.

If you're set on using a clear carto, try CE2 Clearomizers. They seem to be a favorite amongst clear carto solutions. I found that there was all in all too much hassle in dealing with the filling and wicking of juices into the clearos, so I tend to stray from them now a bit, for my own convenience.

But I would overall recommend a dual-coil cartomizer. I haven't heard one bad thing about Boge Dual Coil LR cartos, and i'd suggest starting there. It sounds like the high resistance is most likely the reason behind the lack of flavor.

I have nothing really to add on the carto issue, I just got some led cartos of some sort that I'd never heard of, just got sucked in cuz they looked cool, which is really all I'm hoping for from them. (micromizers I think they are). I hope they don't totally suck lol.

It's a deejtastic day! My deejstuff has arrived! Now, if I can just be patient for steeping! So.many.flavors! Lol

Now, don't go tellin' folks I told you this, but the Milk Chocolate, Cappuccino, Chryanthemum and Rose Candy are good to go right now... they're all "dilute" flavors that steep really fast.

The PC Strawberry will certainly need the full steep-time, though... :)

Just as a minor point of interest... all my flavors are developed to taste good to me at 100% on a CE2 (metal in the case of the clear-killer flavors) using 2.8-3.0 ohm at 3.7v.

Let me be very clear, my issue isn't with Deej's juice. I'm fairly certain my LED cartos are the problem. I have some that are as low as 1.9 ohms (I like to buy in bulk, so I got 2 of every variety, woops) that also offer up very little flavour. Frankly, I am convinced that my ego-t is the best thing on the face of the plant after trying a few different types of clearos & cartos. Any time I have question about a flavour, I just pop it into the stock ego-t & give it a whirl. Every time I've done this, the flavour was stronger in the standard equipment.

These may be regifted to my best friend. I've found that I'm slightly more sensitive to flavour differences than she is. She'll dig the heck out of a carto that lights up.

Thank you for the advice, uAdC. If not for that, I'd spend an eternity trying to figure it all out.

I am really glad I got the Rose Candy. I don't think I'm as in love with it as bakedtart is lol, but it reminds me of.... Something. It's nice, I enjoy it. :)

I am tempted to try 175% on RC. In the past, I've only done 150% which is a delight to vape. I'm glad you find it pleasant. I hope it's not a purchase you regret.

 Sonics, I'm so sorry about your job!

Hi ya DeejSters!
Just dropping in to let you all know...
...I survived Friday the 13th; but, just barely!
I left for work (6 miles away)
with 1/2 Tank of Gas.
I was 2 blocks from work at a red light
and
the driver next to me was signaling me.
I opened my window and he said I was leaking badly.
By the time I got to the parking lot at work
my fuel gauge was on Empty!
Something had broken and I was leaking
gasoline!

A LOT of gasoline!

Thank Goodness that no-one threw a lighted cigarette ....
out of their vehicle!

FireKitty would have had some competition!

I am so glad that I had just added road service
to my insurance policy!
The truck came and towed my truck to the repair shop.
My insurance paid for it!
Thank you Nationwide!

Good Night!
