To tea, or not to tea....

okay... I think I've figured out the "standard" load for sweetener, so I can offer those teas in sweet and unsweet forms.

I can also put a checkbox in for the teas and coffees to add a 3ml bottle of straight sweetener for ... oh ... $1.25? That 3ml bottle would last a while, since the stuff I've seen says to use about 1 drop per 5ml of liquid. The sweetener is sucralose in a PG & water mix.

Doing that (offering sweet/unsweet plus the option of a 3ml bottle) should allow sufficient customization on the sweet factor?
Thank you for keeping them separate. After years of overuse, I apparently developed an allergy to Splenda/sucralose. While I suspect that vaporizing it at very high temperatures might help, I'm not willing to use myself as a test subject. (The reaction is accelerating my hair loss and "less" without Splenda isn't "none" so I'd rather pass.)

I like my coffee to be coffee and my tea to be tea, that's my problem.
Poor deej. No caramel cappuccino. No tiramisu. No espresso chip ice cream. No mocha frosting.

I broke out a new tank today and started leaking almost immediately.I first checked to make sure I put the carto in the correct end (yes, I have been known to put them together backwards at times) The carto was sliding in very easy... the carto is fine. I used it in one of the tanks I had been using. I put a seal from one of my other tanks onto the bottom and it works fine. So my conclusion is that it looks like the bottom seal hole is a bit larger than it should be.

*this would be a manufacturer issue, not Deej's so I am not holding him responsible in any way, just an FYI is someone is having tank leaking issues*

I can start watching for my deejstuff tomorrow! So excited!

Also, Deej, thanks for the exemplary customer service. With my last order, with my stickers on this one (I can't wait! Lol) even this thread and the conversations here show how much you care. I appreciate that!

Btw, I like the idea of an option to sweeten or order sweetener with both the coffee and tea. Given that I change my mind all the time lol :) Options are good lol.

And I vote for Melon Peachwater :)

Is there a top and a bottom? How do you tell which is which (other than when you get it in the mail with a carto already in it)?

The bottoms of DCTs have a little grove in the bottom for the flange to fit into. Other than that, I haven't found much of a difference between the top & bottom of the tanks :)

ummm...the top is the one that ends up furthest from the battery?

(i think it doesn't matter, unless there isn't a good seal)

I'm on my third carto in one of the tanks. I pull the top stopper off for refilling so this time I found one was a teensy bit looser than the other. I did put that one on top. (But that top/bottomness was created by me, not the manufacturer.)

Mini Taffy Review
Raspberry Taffy = yum
Black Cherry Taffy = yum
Tahitian Vanilla Taffy = yum yum
Raspberry/Vanilla Taffy Swirl = yum yum yum
Black Cherry/Vanilla Taffy Swirl = yum yum yum

I haven't decided which of the two swirls* will spend more time in my permanent collection than the other but I suspect that they both will make regular appearances.

*So named because I swirl the two flavors together in my tank.

I'll see if I can dig up a new bottom seal for you!

Thank you! :)

(be nice to your mailman, now... )

I have been vaping with the same cartomizer in a tank for over a week.

When it stopped burning well today, I removed the drip tip

and

I put a few drops of PG right into the filler in the carto, replaced the drip tip

and

continued to vape.

The carto is burning like new again!

I knew that worked with attys... hadn't ever tried it with plain pg...

Given that I'm always looking to expand the menu... is the ratio on those swirls 1:1? They both sound VERY tasty indeed!

=============

I've got a couple hundred bottles to get mixed up and shipped... I'll likely be a bit scarce again today... :)

It depends on how much of the first flavor ends up in the tank before I add the second flavor. I've been sort of aiming for 50/50 but your fruit flavors aren't "in your face" -- a little more fruit than vanilla might work even better. (It should also work with many other fruits such as apricot.)

In the past I've used Bavarian Cream to mellow and bring out the highlights in some fruits (particularly good with straight raspberry.) That's why I thought vanilla might work in a similar fashion. I'll probably keep ordering them separately -- more options depending on what my taste buds are in the mood for any given day.

I agree with Poeia - I use the tahitian vanilla taffy to mellow out some flavors that I'm not overly fond of (not your juices), I also like to mix some of the flavors - for example, sweet gingerbread mixed with spiced peach is really yummy, and if I want it to be a bit mellower, I'll add a bit of vanilla or another smooth, mild (non spiced) flavor.

The ratios always depend on how my desires for the day and what my taste buds find appealing, so I prefer to do the mixing myself - I love that I can mix them up a bit to suit my exact tastes at any given moment, so I will also probably continue ordering them separately. :)
