so... I'm revisiting an old conversation...

I'm still thinking about bringing in some starter kits. Recently, on of my suppliers of choice has started offering 510 tank kits and Type-B eGO tank kits (cylinder style). I've also been looking at the SmokTech dual-coil cartos (I like those suckers!).

Also thinking about bringing in a selection of cartomizers (CE2, most likely...) or clearomizers (but maybe not those... I seem to be the only person I know who doesn't have a problem with them).

Why would I do this? Rather than send a potential new vaper all over the place to get their first kit, I thought I'd bring in some of the few items I really like so I can be sort of a one-stop-shop.

Obviously, at this stage in deejStuff's life, bringing in EVERYTHING isn't going to happen. But I'd like to bring in a few items at least. Maybe even some drip tips and 510 attys...

I'm trying to avoid kits that come with pre-filled carts/cartos, since the goal is to provide the kits along with deejStuff...

Anyway, I'm at the point where it seems to me to be making more and more sense to branch into the hardware side (but only hardware I like :) ).

Comments? Criticisms? Suggestions? Attaboys? Be ruthless, PLEASE!

I think most of your customers is not first time buyers and therefore already own equipment.
If you like to catch up the first time buyers you have to have competitive prices or they will find the cheapest place to order from and in the beginning order liquid from the same place to.
If you do get some starter kits, my advice would be that you get good stuff that works well and easy for new beginners or you will for sure scare them off.

However! I would LOVE to be able to order expendable hardware from you like attys and cartos of good quality, LR SD and HR even if they would cost slightly more. It would be a great service to be able to get everything from one place in one order.

Edit:
I received the package today without any problems so now there is so many new tastes to try out :)
So far, cherry taffie... wow. It's the first saltwater taffie I ever tasted so far but I'm sure I'll have to go through all taffies now ;)

pg cleans attys? hmmm... I didnt know that.
I use a sonic cleaner with grain alcohol or vodka and it works really well...gets
gunk and strong flavors out of attys and bottles...:)
wonder if I put pg in cleaner instead if that would work?...

Good question, I might have to try that, I have a gallon of the pg. I have an untrasonic cleaner also but haven't used it for atties or cartos yet.

I'll try and find the best attys I can, but getting them w/o primer is going to be fun. The main reason for the primer is to keep the wicking wet so it doesn't degrade between manufacture and 1st use. (at least, that's what my investigation has turned up).

Most all the attys come out of China... QC is not a strong point there. I could offer a DOA replacement policy, but beyond that, I don't know.

It's a lot "safer" going with cartos... :)

so... attys... cartos... cartridges(?)... good quality starter kits...

On the starter kits, I think I'll bring in sample orders... I'd like to find a decent quality kit that I can sell at a good price... I'd love to hit $35 or less. There's been times when I've run into a new smoker that sees what I've got, and it pains me to tell them to go elsewhere to get their kit.

Attys... I use 510 standard resistance (if that means anything). What do y'all use?

Drip tips... preferences? I can get some pretty drip tips... I don't do a lot of dripping... I even found some pretty aluminum ones...

I already know I want to bring in those SmokTech dual-coil cartos...

Sallana: when you said joye stuff, did you mean kits... batts... ???

I did find a source for the LEA, and I wanted to bring a couple of those in...

there's just so much!

Primer is kind of one of those necessary evil things.. Not a huge deal

I don't like the aluminum drip tips, they get hot if you are a chain vapor. I stick with the delrin ones myself. but there are a lot of pretty acrylic ones out there.

Atties I would say LR, Standard and HV ones for the people running mods. Same thing for cartos. Start with Standard add as you can I guess.

Just now got my Lea 510 tank unit.

I'm impressed! This is a very pretty unit! It looks like a large, executive-style pen. Take the cap off and vape away... put the cap on for transport.

3-button-click on/off... pass-through...

This is one of the units I wanted to carry... so far, I really like it!
