you might get 10oz of something you don't like and have to PIF or swap it 
honestly I got one and I liked all but one. so I have about 9oz of Atomic Cinnicide I don't care for, but the rest I adore! It was totally worth it (i got mine during the 4th sale, but regardless its a good price for samplers whichever size you get)

for me the downside is trying to choose which flavors to try first....

i'm in the boat too CES, though only an 11 day trip, I have to bring enough to get me through but not so much to raise eyebrows at a border crossing to Canada
At least I don't have to worry about border crossings

yeah i've poked around in there lol I'm driving across so its not a big deal, biggest issue is if you're bringing it in for sale (or buying from someone out of canada for use) but I can bring it in for personal use. they didn't give me a problem in April, hopefully I won't get one now, I just put it away at the crossing, did my thing and went through. the crossing I use only has a few employees there and the guys all have seen me a few times so they don't give me much trouble. Been searched once cuz I went through twice within a month, but they were doing some drug bust or something cuz I got inspected on the US side too.
Just want to say I got my DC cartos. Very fast shipping I expected them Monday at the very earliest. Usually everything I order from LA takes like four days. So far I love these things. The hit at 6v is fantastic. It does seem to change the flavor of the juice, but all cartos do. Out of the two I tried one was for the better, one was for the worst. That's to be expected though.
My first fill was using the condom method. I couldn't believe how much they held! Very nice perk. All went great until I started running low on juice. I had added a drip tip so I decided to fill through it. I started filling, and before it was even close to as full as when I filled it the first time there was juice running down my Silver Bullet. I have confirmed this does this on every fill from the top. I just started with my second one so I haven't had to refill it yet. If they all do that it's not a huge deal I'll just know I have to use the condom method to fill every time.
I wanted to mention two other things. One is that at six volts these thing get very hot. I'm using a metal drip tip, and I can't take more then three hits at a time. They just get to hot. That is normal, and I expected it. The other is that you can't use the 900Mah Tenergy Li Ion CR123s. These trip the protection circuit. I should have expected that because you can't use them with any LR 510's. For some reason I was under the impression that the two 1.5 ohm coils worked together, and were actually putting out three ohms, but it doesn't work that way. Once again not a big deal unless those are the only 3 volt batteries you have luckily I have a bunch of others.
Over all these are the best Cartos I've tried. I might even like them enough to start using them full time. I'll give them a week or two before I decide that though.

grateful, dcs have their pros and cons like all other cartos but they definitely belong to the best available atm. there are quite a few threads with tips and tricks for them to be found on ecf.

I agree. I just threw up that quick review because when I was looking the other day there hadn't been one posted in this thread yet. Someone like me may come along and want to try them. Hopefully my little review might help. Maybe not. Anyway I think I got some pretty damn good cartos at a great deal, with customer service that's hard to find anywhere. I'm way happier than I expected to be, and to top it all off he even threw in a free sample of some juice. This deal couldn't have ended any better.
The only problem I have with the order is now that I know how great of a supplier he is I have to buy more. Sampler here I come.

kitty just recently decided to add these to his inventory on request and is branching out into a small selection of hardware.

Hey grateful..top filling the cartos is best and best done as a slow project so you don't get liquid down the center tube. Best to take it off your PV and have a tissue or something handy.
Tilt the carto almost sideways and only drip a couple of drops ...wait a bit...repeat till full. Blow through it when you are done to make sure there isn't anything in
the tube, then replace it on your PV.
I thought I'd be tricky and filled one attached...rushed myself and made a mess !
Take it off and take your time !
Yes, there is a slight diminishing of flavor over dripping or bottom feeding, but not near what happens in other cartos. (I have never liked cartos !)

Edit: a syringe to slip down inside is a great way to fill and refill too...fill syringe...slip down the side to the bottom...press and lift up and out slowly.

oh... on filling these cartos... I want to reinforce what Classy said about using a syringe to fill 'em ... that's the method I use, and it works great! I use a 3ml syringe with a 1.5" beveled needle... it slips real easy between the carto wall and the wadding. Nice and fast...
