as i understand it,it's an Ohm's law/physics thing. The DCCs have have two coils of wire with higher resistance wired in series instead of one coil of lower resistance. Our vaping experience and the total resistance is the same, but the drain on the battery is less for the DCCs.

Ralph, you're the modder, help me out here :) especially if i've got this wrong.

Actually, those two 3 ohm coils are wired in parallel. So its like vaping two 3 ohm cartos, with twice the vapor. The batteries are drained twice as fast as with the single coil 3 ohm carto..... while you are pressing the button.... But we users compensate for this by taking shorter hits or pumping the button cause it's so strong.

Good Morning.... Seeking coffee now. :)

I'm liking 4.8 volts so far. The first 10 minutes have been great (i am still taking longer drags- but that's ok- i've got plenty of battery power!

(Ralph, i always get series and parallel mixed up -that's why i don't mod  )

Are you using the DCC carto? I can go ~2.5 days on a charge with the DCC. Could probably go 3.5+ with a regular (2.5 or 3 ohm carto). Never tried it though cause I fell in love with the dual coils. Your mileage will vary because you probably vape more or less than I do.

So far I've tried DCC and LR.... so it'll be at least a couple of days before i have to worry about recharging. SWEEET!

going to try standard resistance too. :)

Sweet!! Those batteries arrive about 80 to 90% charged, so the first run before charging will be a bit shorter than after they have been cycled a few times. :D

Have a great day. I have to get started catching up on domestic chores.... and I have a new juice order to contemplate thanks to the new floral line.:laugh::laugh: That honeysuckle intrigues....

I haven't even tried going a couple of days. I pop a fresh set in each evening. That way I don't have to remember if I'm on the 1st or 2nd day.

One thing I'd disagree with Ralph on is how much of a charge the came with. Mine didn't last 12 hours the first time (but by then, my second set was fully charged so it didn't matter.)

ETA: New set in at 4:10 pm Saturday, November 5. Regular old 510 carto. Will see how long batteries last with chain vaping and long drags.

Interesting... :) I am not a chain vaper. I guess the only way to reasonably measure that is juice consumed. I think my consumption is right around 3 or 4 ml a day (using the MBM with DCC carto).

Evening Deej & Fudgey  This is just a fly by as I have a social engagement tonight. I hope you all have a wonderful evening. :toast:
