Yay! I've updated my ALT (Adaptive Label Technology) to respect the VG level.

If the VG level is 50% or less, the labels will say "Best if steeped for at least 5 days!!"

If the VG level is greater than 50%, the labels will say "Best if steeped for at least 10 days!!"

These are starting levels, and feedback will be GREATLY appreciated. I can (theoretically) set a different steep value for each level of VG.

I hope the SteepNazi will bless my efforts in this area... :)

Oh... if you order no-nic (0mg Nicotine), nicotine will not be referenced on the label.

What about 50% VG? You know I like mine 50/50. :) I don't ever steep though. Yes some ends up steeping by default as I don't vape it all at once, but I tend to start right in w/your juices. :)

Instead of exploding, I've contented myself with writing out fantasy orders of Rose & Violet Candy! And perhaps the Cherry Blossom. And more Honeysuckle. And ... *splode*

tsk...

Your orders steep for at LEAST 2 days, don't they? I mean, you don't get them the same day I mix them... :)

Which is better: Cookies straight from the oven, or cookies that have aged for a couple of days?
Which is better: Berries right off the vine, or berries that have been in the fridge for a bit?

You're just trying to pick a fight now, aren't you? :glare:

It's not quite the firekitty, but yeah, it's something like this...keep your eyes on the kitty! :D

 Reading Is Fundamental huh? That's what I get for trying to catch up on forums while I'm working! OK, so yes, I see the 50% is covered now.

And you're right, naturally, that they steep for a couple of days or so on the way to me, which is probably why I don't have to steep them myself at all. For me, that's just right I guess. :D

Going back to work now...no more forum until later at home!

Anything aged is usually better such as 10 year old Scotch or Balsamic Vinegars. :p

On this one I would have to say straight from the oven. Be sure to blow on it a couple of times so you don't burn your tongue. But for Deej juice a little aging is good, sort of like Kentucky Bourbon. The MSFs are making sure my juices are extremely well steeped before they let me have them. About seven hours until I play the "annoy the PO Box clerk" game today.

I agree that Deej's juices improve with age. I was just pointing out that the "aged is better" analogy has some big holes in it.

Which is better: Deej's juice, straight from the lab with all of the flavors and the nicotine repelling each other or Deej's juice after it ages for at least a few days and everything melds?

Hello Deej and the steers. Today the magic package arrived full of juicy goodness. But we owe an apology to the MSFs. The package arrived because of them, not despite them. The postal code from my first order (where I live) was used instead of the postal code for my po box (near where I work). I checked my order and I entered it correctly, so the root cause is you all deejsters ordering too much juice and keeping Deej from sleeping. So the package of juiciness must have gone to the wrong district of Bangkok, the postal code was corrected, and then it got sent to the correct district of Bangkok for insertion into my po box. That would account for the two day delay from when it should have arrived. So thank you MSFs for finding my package, fixing the zip code and whisking it to me. I am in your debt and you have my gratitude.

Deej, the vacuum packing was cool. There was slight leakage but mostly droplets here and there. The only exception to that was the rose cherry blossom, which leaked a little more than the others. The printing from the bottle labels transferred to the inside of the zip lock bag so the labels were left blank in spots. Also, one of the labels came off, but I know what is is (can smell it for that matter) so no biggie. It won't last that long anyway.

The padded envelope did have two tears on the back but not enough to cause any harm to the juice or the integrity of the shipment. Overall, a good experience with a slight hiccup.

Also, a big thank you to all you Deejsters that sent out good thoughts and energy to the MSFs. So Bangkok by First Class Air should be no problem. Just make sure your paws type in the correct zip code. :2cool:

Here are some photos.

Argh!!

I apologize for mixing up the Postal Code!!

I thought I copied it all correctly...

Interesting that the label printing transferred to the ziploc bags... I use the bags to prevent flavor encroachment into other bottles in the event of multi-bottle leaks. I can try not using the ziplocs next time if you wish.

(I've corrected the address in my address book...)
