Definition of Cartos ?

Yeah, this is one of those obviously newbie questions... I've checked the FAQs I could find, but no answer...

What is a Cartos? How's it different from a cartridge or a cartomizer?

a carto has a built in atomizer so you just screw it straight onto the battery (2 peace) compared to the cartridge wich pushes onto the atomizer wich is screwed onto the battery (3 peace)

A carto (or cartos - plural) is just an abreviation, used on this forum and elsewhere, for a cartomizer. A cartomizer being a cartridge with a built-in atomizer, used in a two-piece e-cig system.

3-piece ecig is battery+atomizer+ a push-on cartridge aka cart
2-piece ecig is battery+cartomizer aka cart (a combined screw-on cart and atomizer)

Carts have almost unlimited lifespan - can be washed, restuffed, reused unless they get loose or damaged
Atomizers need to be taken care of and can get weak or die

Cartomizer has a limited lifespan - you can usually get 4-17 days out of a carto if it is kept damp. The longer end of that range would be for well-made cartos (I like Boge). Some people are successful with washing, drying and reusing cartos after the performance or flavor degrades. There is no guarantee you can wash and revive cartos. They are meant to be disposable.
