Dekang Juice Inconsistencies

Hi, I was reading some posts here on ECF about the Dekang Juices downfall through time, and I feel the same way. Lemme tell you my personal history about Dekang Juices.

I started vaping last year, around april, and I bought a 20x5ml sampler from Eastmall, and while I disliked some flavors (that's normal), I fell in love for the vast majority, in special: Red Bull, Kent, Hilton, Cherry, Camel, Dr. Pepper and Cola.

A month later, I bought another another batch from Heaven Gifts: DK-Tab, Flue Cured Tobacco, Red Bull.

Red Bull was ok, but not the same as Eastmall, the other liquids were good, in special flue cured tobacco.

And the following months, I bought at HG, some other flavors: Red Bull (again), Kent, Hilton, Camel.

Kent wasn't the same, as well hilton and camel, Red Bull was like... MEH...

And then, september, my last order (yeah, I stopped vaping because of that) on Heaven Gifts... I've ordered yet another Red Bull, Cola, Watermelon, Dunhill and Winston.

Winston was good, but had a subtle chemical aftertaste, Red Bull sucked big time, more like a gooseberry flavor mixed with some weird chemical and robitussin, Watermelon and Cola were simply AWFUL and GROSS, lots of chemical taste and aftertaste, like it was expired or some ..... like that. And dunhill, very very weak, and again, a hint of chemicalness...

The production dates for this bad batch follows (PS: Sorry, I threw 30ml of Red Bull in the trash can, as well Winston, and I can't remember the dates):

Coca Cola High 10ml - 20/07/2009
Watermelon High 10ml - 21/08/2009
Dunhill High 10ml - 19/09/2009

Now, what's happening to Dekang?

I want to (re)start vaping again, and also I can only think of buying DK juices, and don't have the money to buy expensive liquids/shipping like TW. Any recommendations? Anyone here ordered a good dekang since september?

I haven't received a good bottle of dekang in my 4 months of vaping. Every bottle I have received has had good vapor production and either bad or no taste at all.

My 10 bottles of dekang are kept just in case I run out of good juice.

Edit-

Tastyvapor is great juice and not expensive at all. I hear good things about several of our vendors here on the forums, only tried tv so far though.

I have been using Dekang juices since early last fall and no problems to report. All batches that I have ordered are fine. However, I only order the tobacco flavours. Can't comment on any of the other flavours.

I just got 8 bottles from anycig.com this week DK-TAB 24 mg and it is great! 8 bottles for $80.

Whoa!!! Nice, TastyVapor now ships Worldwide.

But still, is a little bit pricey... Are you guys sure DK liquids still suck since september?

Has anyone received a good batch?

You can get 150 ml of 9mg juice for $35 shipped ($30 if you choose the flavor of the week) from tastyvapor. Buy a 120ml bottle of non nicotine juice and then get a 30ml bottle of higher mg juice of the same flavor, Mix to desired strength.

Note: flavor of the month is awesome, but you will not pay $35 shipped to rio. International shipping is more expensive than domestic flat rate. But, even with the shipping I think tasty vapor is a worthwhile investment. If you want a lot and you want it cheaper, buy a higher mg nice content with the juice and order a doubler to mix it with. You can order 2 30mL bottle of juice in 36mg 1 120 mL bottle of doubler and end up with 180mL of 12 mg juice. 6 oz. is a ton of juice. Just stick to a safe flavor and you'll be set for a while.

Yeah, I noticed that, this is awesome! But since I vape around 18/24mg, I guess 9mg of juice is a little underkill.

I just noticed that international shipping isn't as expensive as I thought, around 13 bucks. So 2 bottles of 48mg + a doubler = 58 bucks. 9 bucks per 30ml!! Even cheaper than Heaven Gifts. Hmmm...

I thought of buying 2 bottles of 48mg and one doubler, but my only concern is about lost flavor in 48mg strengths for non-concentrated liquids.

I usually get DK stuff from Healthcabin.net. I'm living in Indonesia right now, and they ship internationally without problems. Their camel has gone a bit downhill, but it's still pretty good. I'm a big fan of their 555, their redbull is still good too.

I'm gonna try 555 from HG, as for Red Bull, it was one of my favorites, but that september '09 batch sucked big time, but I'll give it a shot again, love Red Bull.

I failed to parse this... The doublers are full flavored, 0mg. So you don't lose any flavor at all no matter how you mix. If you meant that you're afraid of lost flavor with 48mg juice (because of the aditional nicotine liquid?) no worries. Geoff won't mix anything that effects the flavor. For example, you can pick the % of PG/VG you'd like. The amount of VG you can choose differs by flavor and the level of nicotine you select. VG is unflavored, nicotine liquid is unflavored. If you pick a higher level of nicotine then there will be more nicotine liquid in there and less "room" for VG. As you go lower in nicotine you can select a higher % of VG. So... I like about 25 - 30% VG. The juice I order at 48mg only comes 10% VG max for that flavor. So I get the doubler at 70% VG. Mix 2 parts juice with 1 part doubler and I get 32mg, 30% VG juice. A different flavor I order you can only get the doubler up to 40% VG... sigh... so I end up with 32mg, 20% VG juice.

How much VG you can get depends on the flavor chosen. This applies to both the juice and the doublers. Bottom line is that Geoff keeps the flavor constant no mattery what you pick or how you mix it. (Did any of that make sense?)
