Dekang Juices??? Is it me or the Juice

I havn't been vaping but for a few weeks when I recieved my ego. I dripped from the start with some Dekang juices (24mg) on the standard atty it came with. I vaped it about a week but I just kept getting a chemical taste. I now use an EMDCC and top vapor juice which is 18 mg. It's OUTSTANDING!!! Does the carto make that much difference. Maybe it's the standard atty. I am new and fairly clueless, although this forum is the bomb (thank you by the way). Does Dekang juice normally have a good flavor? It's 50/50 pg/vg, maybe it's just me? dunno!! Thanks for any input.

everything from air temperature ,carto and VV setting can change the taste of a juice,,my experience anyway

You might have been getting that taste because the atomizer hadn't been cleaned. That is a really nasty taste. Did you blow out the atty?

Dekang is a chinese juice manuf. Some people really love it, especially some of the tobacco juices. I can't say because I don't vape tobacco.

I also find the Dekang juices to have a 'chemical' or 'perfumy' taste and don't like it. I've tried many different flavors and they all had this quality. Not sure what it is that's in it to give this taste but I just can't seem to vape it.

I've tried steeping as well as just letting it air out but that taste is still there.

Thanks for the replies, I did blow out the atty when I first got it. I let them steep for a few days and tried again. I just quit smoking 10 days ago maybe it is my taste buds. I have some boge lr cartos coming today maybe that will help.

Dekang liquid has a metallic taste but i am used to it, it is my favorite liquid ......... i guess it comes from the nicotine they use , the higher the nic the higher the flavor

Really also depends on the intended flavor... I think the Dekang Pepper and Energy Cow taste just like Dr. Pepper and Red Bull... and the grape flavor they have is one of my favorites of any brand...

I think Dekang tastes like chemicals...I have tried four flavors of theirs, Strawberry, Watermelon, USA Mix and Double Mint. The strawberry was the worst...tasted like my old strawberry shortcake doll used to smell. Like plastic berry-ish chemicals. Yeeech.

Oh well, I'll see how I like it. Even if I don't care for it, at that price it'll be worth it just to stick in the back of the drawer as a backup juice in case I run out of better stuff at some point.

The same can be said for almost every flavor out there.
Some folks like it and others don't.

I had tried some samples from one of the stores in China and didn't care for any of them. Also bought some DK Tab and DK RY4 from a USA store and didn't care for them either. (some folks here like these two in particular) It just isn't for me no matter how long it sits. Still has what I consider an off flavor or smell.

I keep trying it hoping it'll get better, and it has to a point but still not something I'll vape with any consistancy.

My favorite juice is Dekang DK-TAB and I also like the Dekang RY4 as well.
I've never gotten that chemically or pefumey taste from them.

I have gotten a chemically or perfumey taste from some other juice vendors though.

Does your taste like grass? I've heard a few others say the same thing. Maybe we got bad batches but I know it tasted like grass right away. I have tried it since I got it probably a month ago. Probably should give it a vape.
