I love it... It's the closest thing I've found to my Smoketip prefilled cartomizers and I'm loving using the liquids rather than the prefilled... madvapes is a great company... The prices are fabulous, the shipping is super fast... I like using them alot, but I'd like to start trying my hand at homemade juices soon... I was wondering if anyone had tried to recreate that flavor??

Nope. Never liked that one, so never tried.

But maybe grab some Flavour Art flavorings in small 3ml bottles from Pure Vapes to experiment with.

Maybe go with Maxboro, some Virginia. Possibly some Cowboy and Burley.

Never liked Maxboro alone, so it may be what your going for, but the others could be of some use to tweak your mix.

Heck, might even find something even better while experimenting. I'd go 5% flavoring for a start and work from there.

Of course I'm going to assume that you'll hit the DIY e-liquid sub forum and read the stickys before you start because I know you're not a fool.

You give me too much credit, sir... lol
I will head there now >.< I've really not ventured out of the New Member Forum much >.< So many places to look, it's scary >.<

Thanks for the advice :D

Edit : I'm not really too worried about the nic strength... I'm not sure but I think I'm sensitive to nicotine >.< I'm using the 11mg version right now and I think I could probably step down another notch when I re-order... I get the loopy, kinda queasy lightheaded feeling pretty easily... I guess that's a good thing... the lower mg are cheaper :D

Well, experiment with your first batches without nic then. It will save $

When you get close, then, and this is the great part about DIY mixing, you can make your nic strength ANY level you want. (I've mixed 2mg to 48mg and everything inbetween.). As someone who is nearly immune to nic, this was great. Starting out even 36mg was too little. (I hover between 20-24 now days because I'm much better than I was...)

I like the sound of that... I was wondering... I've seen that there are some PG based flavorless with nicotine out there... Would that be ok to use? Would it be much more pricey to go that method, rather than pure nic, PG, VG and mix separately? Or is Nicotine always suspended in something?

ya that's what you want to use, id look arround and find some 100mg strength so that you don't have to use much will go a long way. pure nic is a very very dangerous poison which is why it's always cut down in something like pg or vg

I think I like the lightness of PG better... So if I get PG based nicotine liquid, I'd also get regular PG to cut it further with, as well as VG, right? And in the mixing programs, when they ask for nic strength I'd put in the PG w/nic strength?

I also like the Dekang USA mix very much. But when you find a reliable vendor that can supply it to you at a reasonable price...it's just not worth the DIY in my experience. I'm not against DIY in any way...it's fun and practical for getting those special flavors that might appeal only to you. But when you find a manufactured juice that you like, why reinvent the wheel?
