So I just received my new delta 2 and I'm impressed. vaping at 40w giving a nice warm vape with no dry hits. Nice beefy .5ohm heads with juice control. The tank itself is about the size of the atlantis with very similar air draw.

Three things wrong with this tank.
1. It's hard to see your juice level with the slotted windows
2. It's a pain to fill, almost need a blunt needle to fill.
3. it leaks a little from the base (at least mine does)

Altogether though the flavor is fantastic. This will be replacing my atlantis and subtank. Anyone else have this tank?

Yup, right there with you, Max VG @ 40W all day along. I heard someone else mention its difficult to see the juice levels with the slotted windows but I've found that not to be the case. Definitely a pain to fill, I've gotten juice down the center tube a couple times. Haven't noticed leaking around the base, I'll have to keep an eye out.

While I still have plenty of use for the Subtank and Atlantis, the D2 has moved to the front of the pack.

I've yet to get a burnt or dry hit on this thing and I've had it up to 50W.

Yall using the RBA deck or the atomizers that come with the tank? Ive had my Delta II for about a month now and was fairly pleased with the atomizers that came with it, just got the RBA deck in the mail yesterday and threw it on with the coil and wick it comes pre built in it using 90/10 juice, the same juice I was using with the atomizers, im getting dry hits with the RBA deck. I wouldve liked to have seen larger juice channels on it, its just not keeping up at all with 90/10 juice. Im running it on an IPV3 at 35 watts.

I have the Delta II and a kanger nano...your observations are spot on. Its a nice piece still. I use it on my IVP 70Watt and prefer the nano on Istick30

The Delta II performs better above just north of 30w IMO

Only had mine 2 days. Great tank !! 40 watts, 80% VG, air wide open, strong pulls at 40w, if i want mellow i will just use Atlantis tanks on mechs, this thing doesn't seem to like less than 32-35w. Sure, it can go higher watts but 40 seems to be the setting many prefer ? May try 45-50w when my coil is fully broken in, only put maybe 4mls thru it so far, but really 40 seems enough.

Didn't bother buying RBA head. This thing is designed for those huge i.d. Vertical coils & 38-40 watts+. Heck, it pulls 32 watts out of a mech w/ fresh batts. For standard type RBA the Lemo is good enough for me. Plus FWIW these huge Delta 2 premade vertical heads seem very well designed for anyone who wants to rebuild them. They are press fit & negative lead is kept short by trapping it close to where the top of the actual coil is. For now there's at least one UTube vid showing some good info to start with but very incomplete. Forget the RBA head. JM2C

Yes, seeing juice level is something to watch careful if tank isn't full, by the time you can see it in the slits w/o any tilting it's only a few good pulls away from being almost bone dry. I use a flashlight to check mine.

No leaks yet, but my coil sticks in the upper part when i unscrew the base, & i've been wiping clean both surfaces that have some juice on them & the coil. Then put coil back in base. May try tightening it down more next time.

Anyone measure actual tank capacity yet ??

(I know specs say 3.5ml but all signs i see so far seem to point to less capacity.) Will use syringe to measure next fill, but w/rotation it may be 2+ days.

I like this tank & hope it comes out in Black w/ improved ability to see juice level.

I got mine a few days ago, I plan on getting a vv/vw box, still deciding which one but in the mean time I'm using a stingray and 4nine clone and I've noticed that the airflow in not that good, is it because of them being hybrids? I have yet to try it on a box and my wife is using a smpl (also hybrid) just need to know if and when I get a box the airflow will increase.

Airflow and electrical connections are completely unrelated. I dont like to presume so if you are not fairly new at this then my bad, but Please, i am concerned, your 1st post but this tank & much more so the mech mods you mention are advanced devices.

Please, please go to a local vape shop or something......to learn ecig battery safety. The only Protected Mech mod that can run this tank is Aspire CF Mod w/good 18650 battery or CF Sub Ohm Mod. Please stay safe.

To answer your question - No, airflow will not change w/ different mod.

Think i may stop posting here for a while. Peace.

After a bit of advice please. I'm still very much a "Newbie" (only been vaping about 6 weeks) and currently use a Joyetech Egrip. This seems ok and I haven't smoked at all but I think an equipment upgrade could possibly take me to the next level?

I'm currently looking at the Yihi SX mini (great reviews) and thought maybe the Delta II would be a good tank for it? Whilst I've got an RBA at the moment, I'm a bit of a lazy git so the standard replaceable heads appeal. Do you guys/girls think this is a good choice or should I be considering something more suitable?

Thanks in advance,

Dan
