I have been building since very early on and am dedicated to the decent vape it provides. The first time I saw a Kanger Protank wick I was stunned by the manufacturing ability that china was coming into and the innovation and I saw the possibility of that design replacing building completely some day. It's been a long wait but we are now on the cusp of building becoming something that only pure hobbyists and tinkerers will even bother to approach. By the end of this year, cloud comps will be taken by prebuilt tanks a fair portion of the time I expect and temp control coils will be widely available. We are at the dawn of another generation in the world of ecigs.
I had hope for the Atlantis and it was a great first product but the end all decision was made by my habit. I carried it alongside my .12 ohm compressed quad coil in a Doge X and at the end of every day, I had hit the Atlantis sporadically usually showing performance to a customer but the majority of my
vaping came from the nice and aggressive rebuildable and a battery on the Atlantis lasted all day. I got the Subtank later carried it a bit longer really enjoyed savory flavors on it but found sporadic dry hits that had no explanation. I pushed past the quirk and got used to 'burping' it but still rarely used more than one battery a day off it, still heavily preferring the rebuildable quality vape. Finally I got the Delta II and ran it on a mech to start. For the first time a tank had shifted to use more batteries than my rebuidable setup. I did keep one on me and I used it regularly to supplement and get a solid cloud, but the D2 was damned close especially at the top of a battery to satisfying my need for rich flavor and substantial cloud. Finally I grabbed that 70 watt device and it was settled. I noticed the next day, that I hadn't changed the battery in my regular vape during the day. I still hit it out of occasional habit still that first day. Day 2 I forgot my regular vape at home and didn't notice until going home when I went to look for it. As I mentioned before the Habit tells the tale and my rebuildable is near but nearly unused. Not to say I wont keep a hot aggressive setup around that I took the time to build and make my own, but it wont be long before these tanks take over the nearly complete need to build to get any level of performance. There are better coming I'm sure but for now the D2 has proven a hell of a vape substantial enough to solidly displace a large range of building.
