Yes... e-cigs are being demonised too often in the media.

Only yesterday somebody said "The NHS says that compared with regular cigarettes, the e version is the lesser of two evils. I disagree, and so does the Welsh health minister who wants to see them banned in enclosed public spaces."

See, anybody can write anything. One person's arrogant view is more worthy than that of the NHS?

We have a friend who is very anti e-cigs. Whenever he hears some anti e-cig BS he always tells my hubby about it.
The latest one being all of the people/ children who have been sick from e-liquid based upon calls to poison control.

Calling poison control and asking a question does not equate to a visit to the ER.
Of course he mentioned how children are interested in e-liquids because of all the flavors per the article he read.

I then had to explain that alcohol offers all kinds of fruity flavors as well yet no one is saying that should be banned.
The entire argument is flawed because there are plenty of items in ones home that should not be left laying about for children to get a hold of.

Don't know about other states, but my state funds a lot of common education and health programs through tobacco taxes. Just like the lottery, liquor by the drink, and casinos the state's cut of tobacco taxes is "for the children."

Yeah, the part they don't mention is, who is going to raise those children, if the parents die of lung cancer or COPD? Social services?? GIVE ME A BREAK!!! They can't deal with the kids they already have.

Basically they're saying, "we don't care if you die, just give us your money, that's all we care about, so go on back to smoking so we can have the revenue."
