Could anyone imagine a Versace mod? How many miles of awesome would that one drive. 
Meh, not for me, however there always is a market for those obsessed by conspicuous consumption.
There was a Meucci mod once upon a time. Made by one of the premier, if not highest regarded, pool cue manufacturers. I don't know if they are still available for sale. It was mostly a Bolt-style mod fashioned from the .... of a cue stick.
As a lover of billiards and Meucci cues, I'd love to get my hands on one just for sentiment. As for high-end namebrand vaping hardware, I'm prone to just glance and walk away.

What the hell do they know about mods that could justify a premium?

LV is a very old luggage company that survives on its name alone.

Someone would buy it to look fancy lol. And you have to look at the fact that these companies already have lots of money it wouldn't be hard for them to get in e cig ranks.

Some of the specs: 310 mah battery, 2.5 hours charching time, no passthrough. He bought her a ....ty ecig covered in diamonds and gold. I'll bet she wont even use a juice that'd crack the plastic tank. No point in the fancy ....ing Sicily glass. People can be so dumb.
I think I'd much rather have an ecig that was designed in a room full of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, some PHDs in Physics and Thermodynamics, and a Daniel Jackson type from Stargate to stop things from getting too stuffy in there.
I'm sure everyone has heard about polished turds, and if any fashion types got their hands on vape equipment that's exactly what it would be, a polished turd.
People need to realize you can't buy class or style. Unless you can afford a Caravela.

So, it looks like a disposable battery. What does one do with it when the battery is shot?

I had a caravela but I never liked it it wasn't special just because a certain amount were made sure. I could care less that a limited amount was made doesn't mean it's the best. it was made nice but oh well the quality was the same to degree but I hated the button on caravela. So I choose GG over caravela. My just GG feels better in hands and quite heavier... I got rid of the caravela.
