Desperate help needed.....

I JUST got my first e-cig... a 901 ordered from Bestecig.com

The directions say to "screw" the battery into the charger... the battery is threaded. It won't screw in!! The threads don't seem to catch, it doesn't screw in!
I have been waiting so long... and I can't beliee this... anybody know what is wrong, or have ever had this problem?

Look inside the hole on that charger, and make sure you're holding the battery straight. Sometimes mine won't screw in because its not lined up properly.

Not sure how to respond. On mine the threaded portion of the battery screws (clockwise) into the corresponding hole on the charger end opposite the plug. Gentle pressure to get started is all that's required. Good luck

I have to gently push the battery in before the threads on the battery will contact the threads on the charger. Don't push too hard or screw down too tight.

Thanks guys, did all of that... won't screw. I have one charging now, but I had to improvise. It seems to make contact, as they light will go to red when I push it in... so I have it jammed between two books to hold it in place... I can't believe this!

Not brilliant, eh? Reckon you'd best contact yr supplier.

Nope, came with one, and a USB pass-thru.... such a drag!

Sounds like you may have an 801 charger. The thread side is different between the two. The voltage is the same though.

By the way, I am vaping off the other battery that came with it... it must have some sort of charge in it, it's working. I can tell I need to chill for a minute... I'm getting a nic'd out!

This could be.... I think it looked as if the charger threads were larger than the battery threads (wider hole), and I think the 801 is larger?

That passthrough will be a life saver eventually.
I'd get the problem kit changed before getting further into vaping, unless you have other hardware - could be v frustrating otherwise.

Unplug the charger, and take a pin or something similar and us it to feel if there are threads cut in the charger. The threads may be stripped or not there at all. (Maybe a mfr. defect.)

Contact your supplier and have them replace the charger. You'll have to use the book method until the replacement arrives.

Then go to your personal data and enter your location. Someone may be close to you, and may be able to help you out until you get the charger replaced.

Just a thought, but the first thing I do when somebody needs help is look at their location. If they live nearby I could give a hand. A lot of us have multiple back-up chargers, attys, juice and such. There are a few here on this forum that live close to me and if they were out of something I'd be asking "Where and what time and I'll bring it?" Just don't want someone suffering needlessly when I might have ten of what they need just sitting in this tackle box.

We think alike. Even though you're about a 4 1/2 hour drive from me, I would do a 2+ hour drive to meet you 1/2 way if you really needed something that I had extras of. We all have to watch each others back.

Yes-update your profile with the location. There are a lot of users in that area. Someone may have a spare charger they would let you use until your replacement arrives.
