Winters, Texas
I have been reading a lot of posts complaining about lack of vape shops, restrictive laws, and people with bad attitudes about vaping.

I live in the DFW area, Plano specifically, and here there are many shops with new ones popping up all the time. There are 4 shops within a 5 minute drive from my house.

This being Texas there are few laws restricting personal freedom.

Every single person I have talked to about vaping or has asked about my pv has responded positively, often asking where they can get one. I have never once had to break out the arguments and info I have learned here. Seems like they are pretty open minded.

All of this seems to me makes this a vapors paradise, so y'all come down, we got plenty of room. :)

Ooh im jelly now!... I so want to go to a place with real vape shops!... After christmas when stores are open again im gonna go and apply for a job in a vapeshop nearby and do what i can to give the vape shops here in denmark a push in the right direction... I want to see other stuff than ce4's and egos in the shops!... I want mods, drip tips, high end liquids, batteries, DIY supplies, kanthal, mesh wick stands and all the diffrent tank types!
Its so boring being a vaper here!

Oklahoma City is the same way. Vape shops on every corner, can vape just about anywhere without getting funny looks. Though, some smaller towns in OK have banned vaping in public areas, OKC is still pretty wide open to it. Gotta love not living in a nanny state like New York or California.

I drove through OKC a few years ago. Stayed the night in a hotel downtown somewhere near that Baseball place. The hubby and I keep saying we need to go back and really spend a few days exploring. SOunds like a nice long weekend trip for us to plan soon :)

In all honesty... There's not a lot to do in OKC yet. I grew up in southwest OK, but moved around the country for many years, and just recently came back a few years ago. When I was a kid, the area you stayed in (now known as "Bricktown") was a crap hole, chock full of old and mostly abandoned brick industrial buildings. They have since converted those brick buildings into nice restaurants, bars, and shopping areas. It's still a small area that's been redeveloped, but it's expanding pretty rapidly. Downtown OKC has come a long ways since then, but it is still in its infancy as far as redevelopment. But they are determined to make the city an attractive place for businesses to build headquarters and visitors to roam. My only problem with it here, is that no matter how nice the city becomes, it's still in the middle of Oklahoma, which is still in the middle of nowhere. lol I'm an outdoors person, and that means when I leave the city, there better be mountains, clear rivers/streams, and big lakes. None of which Oklahoma really has.

Lets see I live in small town Louisiana. swamp on one side, muddy rivers Shreveport is closest thing to a booming metropolis and it is a 70 mile drive. Claim to fame there riverboat casinos. OKC is about a 6 hour drive and something we haven't stomped around in yet:)

Actually we both regret we didn't go to the memorial site that bombing was sort of one of those pivotal moments for both of us when realized that we were not insulated from the terrors of the world. We want to pay respects.

Bricktown looks like something a pleasant afternoon could be spent exploring. There ae vape shops and as the hubby just reminded me an APPLE STORE (God help me).

I know Louisiana very well. I lived in Lake Charles for several years, so I can definitely see why Oklahoma City would be a place to visit for you. I liked Louisiana. Good people, good food, and always good cold beer 24/7.

The memorial is an emotional place for me. I was in OKC that day, and i'll never forget the sheer terror in this city. I'll also never forget it being the one few times in my life in which I saw humanity band together, if even only for a couple of days (much like 9/11). Sadly, it wasn't until almost 20 years after the bombing that I could finally bring myself to actually visit the memorial. I've driven and walked by it on many occasions, but could not bring myself to visit the little chairs on the lawn, because everyone of them represents an innocent child that died on that horrific day. I finally did though. Walked around the site, and went into the memorial museum. Bring some Kleenex though, because it will make even the most hardened men on the earth shed some tears.

DFW is an awesome place for vape shops. I'm in Highland Village (just north of Lewisville) and can have 4 within 10 minute drive max. One is really close but I checked their website out and seems to be mainly ego type stuff and over priced. Might pop in just to see what's up :)

Will be moving to Wisconsin in a couple months with my parents to the Milwaukee area, hopefully there is at least one good B&M up there.
