Hi,
I'm wondering if I'm just being a freak about this but... It seems there are some e-liquids that I simply can't dial in when I'm using the variable wattage selection on my MVP2 and have to use the variable voltage selection instead.
Now, I understand how the VW and VV work, in that the voltage will depend on the Ohm resistance of the coil and what wattage I've selected to use in my MVP2 so in my mind, ultimately it's the same damn thing only using wattage is more like an autopilot since it will set the voltage based on what wattage I select.
But there are some e-liquids that I simply can't seem to get dialed in using the wattage selection and have to use the voltage selection instead. When I say "dialed in", what I'm meaning is that I don't really care how large the vapor cloud is, but for the flavor, to get not so much the strongest flavor out of it, but the best (I know, subjective) flavor out of the e-liquid that I'm using. It just doesn't make much sense to me that I can go through each watt selection of .5 increments and not find the exact watt selection that will dial in some of the liquids I'm vaping, but then going through using the volt selection at .1 increments I usually hit the sweet spot somewhere in there.
Do other people also experience this and feel that some of the liquids they use require them to switch over from watts to volts to get the flavor truly dialed in for them, or perhaps it's just all in my mind and the flavor really isn't changing any whether I use 9 watts or if I use 4.2 volts, or 7 watts or 3.3 volts etc. etc.
