Did clone w/Silica

I ordered some Silica wick to try on my Did Clone. How should I wrap the coil on the silica? I've seen some people fold the top of the wick 2-3 times to make it thicker where the coils will be. Anyone try this?

I just place 2 wicks in the hole. I insert a sewing needle so I can wrap a neat coil. Then I use sharp tweezers to adjust the coils more evenly.

What size wick did you use?

I use one piece of 3mm, and one piece of 3.5 mm. But that's for the original DID atty. I think the DID clone is a little smaller.
