Did I burn out these attys with voltage, or did they get dry?

I just received my Infinity vaporizer today (my first vaporizer!), and after anxiously waiting for the batteries to charge, tried out a couple flavors with a drip tip. Things went fine for a little while until I started playing with the voltage control. The flavor of the vapor became progressively more acrid, and then, suddenly, the atomizer stopped working.

Thinking that one was just weak, I tried again with another. Again, it ran for about three puffs, then I heard a kind of bubble-popping sound, and it stopped working.

I reckon I ruined those two attys. But, did I do it by running the voltage too hot, or did I let them get too dry?

They were both standard resistance 901 attys. Meanwhile, the 808 cartomizers I got are working like champs.

You may just want to ask over at the "Notcigs" subforum (after you get to 5 posts here), see if anyone has had any issues with those specific atomizers. I just got my Infinity today and I am loving it. It has worked great. but I have noticed on some cartomizers I tried that I quickly got a burnt taste if I pushed the voltage to hgh.
