Did my coil just clean itself? Wha??

New juice, higher VG than I normally get, and sweet to boot. Was not surprised when my mini pt2 (with bought coils, haven't ventured in to rebuilding yet) started feeling a bit clogged up. But I still had half a tank left (which isn't that much as its only a mini, but its the principal!!), so hells if I'm tipping that down the sink!

So, I battle on, determined to finish my juice in this tank. Then all of a sudden, the air flows clears right up! And then a dry hit (yucky). And then... Perfect. Like a new(-ish) coil.

So I'm happy, and it comes to the end of the night when I fill my various tanks with their variety of flavours. I unscrew the one I'm talking about from my battery, and... there's a lump of brown gunk sat on the battery contact!

Can someone tell me what just happened? I'm not fussed, everything turned out nicely in the end, but I've not seen/heard of that happening before!

Sounds like that dry hit you got might have been just enough heat to dislodge that chunk of gunk, which might have been inhibiting juice ingress (hence the dry hit).

could have been a wick problem or one of the air flow holes had something in it and it came out. Ive had that happen with my t3s tank.

I'm reckoning maybe I got something in there when I was cleaning bits with paper towel whilst refilling. Refilling 4 tanks takes me half an hour due to all my thread wiping

This sounded weirder last night when I was really tired!
