What size bottle did you get? The larger the bottle, the longer you need to let it steep. Hopscotch starts to really get fine tuned in about 2 weeks for 10ml and longer for 30, 60, 120ml. I haven't noticed a perfumey taste but my bottle has been steeping for over a month.

60ml. It's my main vape, so I'm pretty used to how it tastes, and I don't recall ever needing to steep it, but you're right. I should put it aside for a while and let it sit. It's just so far off from normal that I wasn't sure if it changed, or if someone made a mistake.

//Going to just put it aside. I wonder if they produce so much hopscotch that I'm used to getting ones that are already made.

I recently received a 120 ml. bottle of hopscotch and it tastes like it always does. I like hopscotch right away, but it's definitely better after it steeps. What I've started doing if I've not well stocked is also order a 30 ml. bottle since it steeps faster.

To steep the liquid fast, take the cap off overnight. Tomorrow, recap and shake really well. This should help. :) If not, email or call FSUSA.

at times we get new products from flavourart on thursdays that was blended and shipped on monday, the raw ingredients are so brand new they had no steep time at all. Our recipes never change but raw ingredients from the manufacturer do have different smells at times due to age. Definitely take the top off for a day or two and give the ingredients time to blend.

It does seem to be turning for the better, for sure. Still not quite what I'm used to, but I'll give it another week and I imagine it will be perfect.

Thank you for the responses!

I've not tried the custard, but I will add it to my next list.

Oh, while we're discussing hopscotch, is there a good way to thin it a bit, without overly reducing the flavor? I ask only because I've mostly swapped to cartos, and while the 50/50 works pretty darn well (and vapes wonderfully), I sometimes wish it was available in a 70/30.

I'd love to just leave the tops off, but I have 2 mischivous cats. I keep opening it up and getting some air in and a shake. I really need to find a catproof place in the house. I trust my big guy, but the little one, he's bad. He gets into everything from floor to ceiling. And I'm not kidding about the ceiling. He gets up on TOP of the doors trying to catch flies.

That's really funny about your cat getting on top of doors to catch flies! I hope you did what Maureen suggested (filling some small bottles). I've done that before and it works well. So, for uncapping your big bottle, how about a cabinet in your kitchen or bathroom?

Vaporgal, he even gets up on top of the doors, just to say he can. there's only 3 doors in the house he hasn't nailed yet. I'm just thankful the big one do do this crap. The little one even gets up ontop of the flat screen monitors or TV when no one is looking. He just walks across them perfectly balanced.

I guess I could try the bathroom. I forgot about the one cabinet that he can't get into. The kitchen is out of the picture. Hubby might knock it over rummaging for late night snacks, lol.

Your cat sounds so funny! Before I turned into a dog lover, I had quite a few cats. Not one ever walked on top of doors or flat screen monitors! But, my first cat, Ashley, enjoyed hanging from the lights on the Christmas tree. Once we discovered that, we stopped buying Christmas trees!

I'd try the bathroom. Just tell hubby that juice is in there so he doesn't knock it over. :)

Isn't that when you hide it in your shoe in the closet? (I mean one of the 20 pairs you don't wear too much :) )

LOL... You must have read my post about my shoe addition. I used to have over 100 pairs of shoes  , but when I quit working in government, I sold most of my shoes on eBay. I really should sell more since I mostly wear flip flops since I work from home. By the way, I have a lot of flip flops. :)
