I have used i06's for a long time now and always loved them. I got a order in when the site was briefly up and then another batch this last week and the draw on all of these is much tighter than it has been. After about a week of vaping on them they become even tighter and almost impossible to use in my DCA. I'm wondering if they have changed or if I just got into a bad batch on these orders. I also have a buddy who is having the same problem with his and its not just like one or two of them we both run about 5 i06s at a time and went through about 15 of them total.

I'm sure he is still super busy at the moment. I'll see if he chimes in here and give it a few days before PMing him.

I think you would have better luck with an Email. Like Switcher said before, as busy as he is he doesn't always have time to answer PM's and especially on the ECF Forum as slow as it is.

I've been asking myself this question for a while now..."did the i06 change?" Well, for me it has. Not sure what it's due to, but the last 4 I've ordered from various sites, and the last one from IKV (3.5ohm) are just not performing as I'm accustomed to. They stiffen up after a few days, and they tend to leak more. Also, the ohm ratings always drop about .5 after a week. Also been experiencing "Gurgling" for the first time. Have not changed my vaping habits and I am super careful about not flooding them. Just at a loss at this point as to what the problem might be. I'm reluctantly ordering some 510 cannons to change things up, as that's my second favorite atty.

Hey guys, I wasn't aware of this being an issue on such a scale. I had a few emails talking about this and I took it as the ventilation holes were cut at .50mm as they were supposed to be at .75 and just recommended. " What we can try is to make the ventilation holes larger on the io6. Near the bottom just above the threads are 2 smallish holes, all we need to is grab a screw, preferably a pointy end :D) and just set it into each hole and give a small twist just to make those holes a bit bigger we don’t need to go through the fitting, just at the base." I'm going to contact the factory responsible for this and get this problem fixed straight away.

thanks Isaac :)

I also noticed I have two distinct kinds of bases, which very wrt to the position of the air intake holes and the number of threads

One of the configurations seems to cause the overly tight draw (I LIKE the tight draw of the IO6)

the off configuration gives an impossibly tight draw that doesn't seem to want to correct with boring out the holes, because the holes are still set so low that they don't see any air

I'm going on memory, but I think the "good" ones have more threads, and higher set holes so they are still peeking out when you screw it into your PV

I'm away from home for the month so I can't post pics, but I promise I will when I get back in a few weeks :)

If anyone else notices this maybe they can post pics
