I remember when I used to live on Haro St. in a highrise (24th floor) and when a storm with high winds would roll through, it would make the building sway. I couldn't imagine being in that building during an earthquake! Yeesh!

Im central vancouver island and I had trouble walking to a doorway, it was pretty apparent for me, and kinda creepy. Supposedly it was felt as far as kelowna!
Last year sometime we had one that I felt in Ontario (can't remember if it was in Ontario or not). I was working nights at the time and was sleeping. I though one of the cats jumped up on the bed, I woke up looked for which brat it was but neither were there so I went back to bed.
Later that night I woke up and had several text's and saw several posts about the earthquake. I just thought everyone was crazy until I actually looked on the news and saw it, then it clicked.
