The best advice I can give new vapers is to keep backups of all the pieces in your setup and not have a cigarette if you want to quit smoking.

Great advice! Backups, backups, backups after 71 days I've learned that flavor tastes so much better than an analog! Never want to go back! Ever!

My advice is to have as many backups as you can to make it easier than going to the corner store and buying those awful, smelling, nasty tasting things! To me an awful juice would taste better than any analog! Unless it was made of chocolate... ;-)

I love to read this thread and like everyone's posts! I make sure I try and stop by every day or two just to like them all! Good luck everyone!

I quit almost three weeks ago and have no regrets! My wife doesn't really care how much I spend on "stuff", as long as I'm not smoking. I lit a cig about a week after I quit, took two drags, and tossed it out the window. I thought I was missing it. Vaping was killing the cravings, but I wanted to see if I really was missing it. After two drags, I realized I wanted a release from cigs.

I quit 13 years ago with the patch and never even thought about smoking after a while. Then I started going on breaks with some smokers at work and one day thought I could have just one. Nope. I was back up to a 1/2 pack a day with in a couple of weeks, feeling guilty and smelly and cringed at the cost of a pack of cigarettes. My fiance hated it so much. I thought I could never go through quitting again because the first time was really hard. But then I discovered vaping. I bought a decent vape and lots of juice but kept starting my day with an analog and it just continued through the day. About two weeks later, I stopped analogs and grabbed my vape first thing in the morning. It's only been a few days without analogs but I can honestly say i have quit, I love my vape and I have turned on two new vapers at work. This forum has helped a lot with gear and juice advice I have read - Quite happy without ashtray mouth and having to try to cover up the smell of cigarettes.
