dietSMOKES.com , a mistake or a ripoff??

"ok before i go ahead with this , i want every one to know that it has bean a " week" now on my order and no updates from the seller after contacting him about the delay"

The story:


I chose dietSMOKES for three reasons :

1-They offer UPS World wide.
2-They are approved by ECF.
3-Parked being a known reviewer so i supposed that he would give the best for products and CS.


i placed my order for the VP PT (USB Pass THRU) and 8 10ml liquids on the 22nd Jun, and chose UPS (Worldwide Expedited) for $79.53! ,

actually i did not choose , it was the only option their system showed me for my address in checkout.

after one day the status of my order was changed to shipped! i was impressed now that was fast!

but when i received the tracking e-mail , it was from USPS!

hold on people, i thought i chose UPS!, or would an extra "S" do no difference :facepalm:

now i can get $15 flat rate any where with USPS! why would i pay $80 bucks for that!

i sent CS an e-mail, then parked replied very fast saying that it was a " mistake" and my order is going UPS and i will get the UPS tracking later that day , and that i should forget about the USPS e-mail".

and now its a WEEK and i have not seen that UPS tracking! nor a reply from parked , all i received form CS is Mr.MoM at the forum asking me to "Hang in there"!!!

if my order was fixed fast then i would not have a problem and might forget all about it , but a week now with no UPS tracking, no decent reply nor a Full refund! i have all the right to smell a ripoff or an attempt for one!

i couldn't stop asking myself how can that happen by mistake? their system had no other option then UPS! no USPS option was there!

what if i did not notice the USPS e-mail , and just stayed here waiting for my shipment , would they notice this "Mistake" and refund the Extra?

any ways i cannot trust this seller anymore nor would i recommend him to any ,

one thing you cannot risk with a store is the honesty of it !

until the date of this thread , no UPS tracking and no REFUND!

USPS tracking is still valid though!

actually my order was based on a post from a member here recommending dietsmokes as they carry more then one liquid brand , and for the other reasons i mentioned , i trust ECF , and if they approve a store then it must be worth it, but looks like not with Dietsmokes

i really should have searched this forum , in the first two pages i found that there are two other threads having problems with them! and with the search engine i got all of these :

I want a refund for my dysfunctional Joker! This was a $160 waste. It does not work as advertised and is still under warranty!

it is Parked with a "d" and good luck getting ANY form of customer service out of him. Sorry that you are another one of his victims of poor customer service but you have joined a very big club



yeah this is not something new at all.. I dealt with him well over a year ago and nothing was resolved. Sure he seems like a nice guy, but the lack of customer service means he is a bad businessman.


Theres a lot of people thats been haveing proplems with them i bought some 801 attys and 1 was DOA and he never got back to me after PM and emails so yea i would not recommend him ever hope u get it solved good luck!


I keep reading these same stories over and over and over again....

I had a similar issue with an order.... 5 emails, 2 ticket requests and no response....

He seams like a nice enough guy but the customer service after the sale is simply horrendous and for the most part, non existent....

I can tell you that without a second thought, I will NEVER place an order there again...

I purchased my first e-Cig from DietSmokes recently. Had a few questions pre-purchase so I emailed them and got a quick response. Wanted to ask a few more questions so I asked him to give me a call - he did within minutes - and answered all of my questions very professionally. He even said he would "toss in" a couple of extra flavors for me to try - cool.

So, I got my order, but the freebies didn't make it into the package - no big deal, not worth crying about. But then I emailed a couple of other questions after that and no response, to any of them.

I am not here to talk BS about them. Maybe there were problems keeping him from answering emails... for a few weeks...

I would not have a problem ordering from them again. Maybe he will get back to the emails after seeing this thread. Hope so - He seems to be a decent guy.

If not, there are PLENTY of places selling this stuff...

THIS is looking like a disturbing trend with dietsmokes!
I ordered :
a Vaprlife VP2 'base kit',
5 "Spade" 510 attys, and a bottle of liquid.

When I got the package, there was NO VP2 Base Kit,
(I mean REALLY...how do you forget to ship a $115 item???)
AND - he sent the wrong attys.
The ONLY thing he got right - was the liquid.
Emails = no response
Opened a 'ticket' = no response
I PM'd him here....got a response indicating he was gong to
take care of the problem.
NO further communication....no package....NOTHING!

I'd have been "kinder and gentler", but seeing other peoples experiences,
I'm seeing that mine was NOT an isolated incident.

I have moved dietsmokes OFF my 'preferred vendor' list...
he's now on my "other list" !

(((Makes me want to fly to Texas and file in small claims court!)))


Dietsmokes has the worst customer service of any company I have dealt with Little - no response to emails or PM's, incorrect orders, and phony parts

In short, avoid the headache & don't waste your time with them, there are too many good and reputable sellers out there...

and there are allot out there

ECF should do something about this, how a store with this reputation and bad CS stays as an official supplier here?.

It has indeed been shipped UPS I did let you know that when you did get the email from stamps.com to ignore that. i did print the label but cancelled that asap seeing that you were in saudi arabia and chose UPS etc...

I full aware of the problems getting through your country through regular mail etc........

John my supplier associate you have e-mailed you the tracking number for UPS etc...

Hang tight i will PM you this evening with the tracking information

all items are were in stock and the item did go out

Go to their forum and pm parked or any staff and try and get it resolved that way.

Thanks for that that is correct we did not check this section of the forum
this has been the second one in the last week in here. My fourm associate should be checking this area but untill last week did not know it was here

he and I do however hang in the the dietsmokes forum section so it's easier for us to get ahold of the problem if it is posted in that area etc..

Wow that really Sucks they should be replying alot more and helping you

I have never ordered from them but after reading all the Bad feedback
in the past week or so i will never order from them

Hope everything works out!

These are rare events the first gentlemen that posted in this forum last week
didn't want to send his faulty part back to get replaced.

That is our policy just like many other suppliers etc...... we will always honor a warranty part as long as we have the bad one back !

This situation i did think my "Supplier Associate/Forum Worker" contacted Wael he told me he did mistakes do happen but it will always get fixed etc..

So I hope you still continue to buy with us we are human and mistakes do happens sometimes

that is what you told me one week ago and i did not get any thing!

you are posting as there are no problems at all! man not even an apology

parked you really need to have a course in CS , get it any where! or just stick with reviewing you are better with that than selling.

The reason I said later is because im not at the office at this time i will go back up there later tonight etc...

Like i said problems do happen sometimes buts its rare but we do try take care of them as soon as we can .

I'm truly sorry "homedaddy" did not forward you the information at the end of the day its my fault

IF you don't want the package i can have UPS stop shipment and intercept the package and return it to me.. I do understand if you no longer want it

I can give you a full refund .

Just let me know what you would like to do I will try to make you happy in any way that i can :)

paying $80 and getting a $15 shipping is not insulting? your staff is you and you are your staff , i e-mailed you two days ago why did you not answer until i posted this thread?

believe me i don't feel happy posting negative reviews , and i have absolutely no benefits from this, if all i want is making trouble i would not wait a whole week to post here , i did all i can! i contacted you via e-mail , i posted in your support forum,,,etc

i dont know who is homedaddy , if you mean Mr.MoM he replied to my post two times and mention nothing about UPS shipping! he said he will check with you , that means he know nothing about my order bean shipped with UPS, that is if homedaddy is Mr.Mom .

Just let me know what you would like to do I will try to make you happy in any way that i can :)

i want to see the tracking history and see when was it shipped UPS, this will solve some issues for me!

I agree if a UPS Tracking number is giving it will obviously have a time stamp

And will settle the issue of honesty

oh man

so i asked him for the tracking , instead he sent me a private message telling me that he decided to refund me and how things went bad and that he could not satisfy me so he refunded etc etc etc etc

alright i think it is all clear now! he did not send the tracking because :

1- he never shipped it UPS!
2-he did ship it but maybe only this day!

this thread should stay for everyone to see! and i hope to see an admin posting what he thinks.
