I'm looking to get some additional parts, different colors and such.
Is there a way to tell if your getting original parts?
Pretty much have to trust the vendor - email them if needed to find out if what they have is a Joye. Don't just assume that when they say 'same as Dura C, titan, yeti, tecc' (all Joyes) - iow don't mistake model by compatibility.
The Joye atomizer has a base around the bridge with metal mesh. The clones have what looks like a metal washer. Also the resistance in the Joye attys is 2.1-2.3 whereas the clones are higher and as a result don't get as hot. And while that might seem like a good thing, it isn't.
I don't know if there is anything by looks regarding the
batteries but the button is sticking and falling off on the clones and I've frankly have never seen a report of a Joye battery button sticking. That doesn't mean there hasn't been any, just that in the 7 months I've been posting here, I've never seen it reported. Also some clone manual batts have cutoffs - a really stupid thing to have on manuals, imho. I hear that they are long enough not to interfere - unlike some others.
