My understanding is that the Classic is the premium version of the old standby, while premium CMF is a new version. I have both, and prefer the new premium; it's milder and a bit sweeter(?) Old Coke vs. New Coke, Prem Kant vs. Classic Kant. Probably only the fanatics can tell the difference (not that I would ever dream of calling Maxx and Jeffree fanatics).
