the SID is not a bad device, but it's bigger and it is VV/VW (variable voltage/watt) it has a little screen and one button, which activates the screen by button pushing (lots of it), the tube feels a bit cheap and plastic-y, and you'll have to get a rechargeable battery to go with the device. The voltage adjustment range is broader than the Winder (3.2 - 4.2 V) whereas SID is 3.0 - 6.0 V.
And then you also can adjust the Watts on this device.

I personally would suggest a iTaste SVD or a Vamo 5 (SS = stainless steel), if you are going for a tube mod
if you just want a longer lasting battery with those options/features, you might also want to consider the iTaste MVP 2 (which is a box mod), the voltage on it starts at 3.3.

These devices are all in approx the same price range.

I have 3 SID's and Vamo's too. The SID is a lot lighter. I like them both.

it's definitely lighter...it's always up to what an individual wants/prefers.
I prefer SS mods, because they just feel like they won't break the first time I accidentally sit on it or some other calamity

I 'do' have one also :)

I got a SID .... Works great but you gotta buy a charger and batteries.... Mvp 2 is also a great device ..... If they could make a tube mod with the same mah as the MVP that's all anyone would buy

I totally agree!!! ... they have a new thing coming out....looks like a hand grenade...I forgot the name of it, but it's got a thread on here somewhere

even if the MVP 2 where just a bit less boxy and a bit more ergonomically shaped (still in a box format, kinda like the Gripper of sorts)
